Textured condoms??

Hi everyone, I'm pretty much wondering people's opinions on condoms with textures. I got a pack that has ribbed, studded, and some that have both. I haven't been able to feel the textures except when putting them on. Haven't had a partner comment, but havent' asked either. So what do you think, can you feel the textures, do you like them, and any other things you have to say about them good or bad. Thanks.

This is pretty much why I started this thread. I figured it might be something only the one being penetrated could really feel, and wanted to know if the lovely and friendly ladies of this site (or men who bottom) really prefer them to regular condoms or if it makes much difference.

Always a good idea to just ask the partner what they like or prefer. If they say doesn't matter, than maybe try some different things. Warming is also another good kind (be careful though, some people are more sensitive to the heat than others).

Some ridged or studded condoms can cost a little bit more, so it's nice to ask if the partner feels the difference. If not its a nice way to save money. If yes... keep on with the bumps.

I know there are some condoms that are twisted. They drove my wife nuts. we bought them by the case she liked them so much lol.

I do plan to ask, but the moment hasn't happened since the thought came into my head to ask. thats a good suggestion about getting them Erica, have a few types already though. Last time I bought some the store didn't have regular in a box bigger than 3, but had a 12 pack of 3 different textured ones, and since they are cheaper in bigger boxes those were cheaper than regular.

Textured condoms are probably one of those woman by woman thingys, I've never tried one so I can't say if I prefer or not, I've heard good things about so obviously some gals do like them, but of course what works for one may not work for another so best to have regular and textured condoms just to be safe.

I've never felt much from the textured ones, but the warming ones made me burned like hell afterward. I was very uncomfortable for hours afterward! We gave them to my boyfriend's brother!

I had some that made me itch, I think it was the lube on them, my regular brand doesn't do that to me. I gave them to a friend who gave them to her son, lol.

ya. I agree with bare feeling better, but thats not exactly a sure fire method to avoid pregnancy, and doesn't do anything to prevent disease.

True, but I mean i'm not going to sleep with somoene on the first date and do it bareback. Usually know the person for a few months, and make sure they check out i check out, that drill.

Otherwise, if you go condom all the time...you won't last as long bareback. My last relationship was all bareback, and it taught a lot of self control.

i think the worst horror story i've heard was that of my friend from high school. she tried mint flavored condoms and it ended up turning her and her boyfriend's (at that time) crotch green for about 3 days.

and i'm sorry shadow that the warming ones burned you. it really does suck that the condom companies aren't really able to create a condom like that to more sensitive people. but that's why i warned to be careful about the different sensitivity levels.

after all of this talk, i am able to think of an overall suggestion. that is to pick a brand you know and trust, and explore with those condoms. (switching brands and styles within new brands have the possibility to create confusion, discomfort, and mistrust very easily). I think thought that you have recieved some very good suggestions and tips here

Well I used to try textured condoms the wife really could not tell the difference I think it is more of a mental thing. The bumps and ridges are so damn small compared to what you will find on a vibrator.

that's funny. worst i heard was a friend of mine who bought the "her pleasure" trojans for his first time because he wanted to make sure it felt good for her. he stopped midway through to give her oral not realizing the condoms have a numbing agent in them. whole mouth went numb for the rest of the night and he never could finish cause he couldn't feel a thing. poor guy.
