Well yesterday's doctor visit didn't go as hoped, nerve damage in my eye is gonna limit movement and give me double vision on the outer limits. Have to decide if I want to move forward or just go through life with one eye.

I'm so sorry, sweetie. I'll be praying that things work for the best, whatever your decision.

Good afternoon Texas!

Finally got home from a three day trip to Houston, it was the drive from hell, traffic that slowed the interstate down to a crawl in the middle of nowhere and caused me to make my own offramp to hit surface roads for the next 20 miles until I got past the slow down. Then torrential downpour of rain just as I got to Houston.. what is normally a 3-3.5 hr drive took 4.5 hours on thursday afternoon, I checked in for my first doctor's appointment just ten minutes before. Appointments went well and the biopsy of my lungs was different. New drugs for me, didn't feel the needle at all but was awake and aware the whole time. No complications, both chest xrays after looked good. I'll have results next week sometime. Then this morning, I stop for gas about 40 minutes into my trip home and realize I left my cell phone laying on the hotel bed so back I went to collect it but I am now safely back home. Drive back was a breeze after I got headed homebound.

Around here they are changing them over to lights on poles instead of wires, going either direction but still lots of them on wires.
