I've lived and worked extensively in the Middle East. I'm not a bit surprised that a lot of folks there identify with the corrupt, authoritarian Trump. As a matter of course, all UK A & E departments triage patients, to sort them into needing attention now; can wait but are appropriate; and those who could be better treated elsewhere.

When I attended a minor injuries unit last week, I was triaged. What I needed wasn't urgent but was an appropriate use. I had to wait while two children who had suspected broken arms were seen first. Why not?
