funny thing. i know several texans who have monitored elections in other countries. they went through pretty intensive training on how to be as minimally intrusive and respectful to the host countries as possible, only there to watch with their eyes and document what they saw. the fear of abbott and perry is disappointing, sad and telling of their ignorance to what they believe to be fighting.

Am I mistaken? I could be, but since Americans can observe polling places I don't see why Americans who happen to work for the UN would be unable to do so.
