If the whole city of Chicago was wiped off the face of the Earth, the net worth of the United States would immediately increase by trillions...

The whole damn state of Illinois isn't worth $50.00 let alone shitcago!

Obama was a Senator from Illinois, and has very strong ties to the city. Most people I've talked to love Chicago; conservative morons can't help but hate everything about it.

It's a city far more infamous for being run by the Mafia, which then buys any and all of the poitical influence it needs, and has never been bashful about the remainder who could not or would not be bought simply 'vanishing'.

It's been a Democrat run city for about a century, and the corruption is the stuff of movies and gangland legend

I bet you come from some shithole where unicorns shit rainbows or something.

Chicago has a rich culture in the same way Sudan or Somalia do. The architecture is beautiful, though. It was a lovely place during the Columbian Exposition in 1892-'93, and many of the buildings built for that ocassion are still standing.

Lightning hits some asshole called coach. No one reports the news, no one looks for the crispy body.

Have they covered over the bullet holes in those buildings yet?

I'm not sure about that, but the World's Columbian Exposition was fully lit with electric lightbulbs. It must have been amazing to see in 1893.

So now the former wonder of the newly lighted world is now being stormed and ridiculed for it's input to 'Global Warming', or did they make Edison apologize for not inventing the CFL bulb?

Edison was a very bad man. Brilliant, but very, very bad.
