I wrote a satire of tentacle porn by trying to write a tentacle story that was realistic and almost believable - most tentacle porn requires a major effort by the reader to suspend disbelief.

I had several manga books with tentacle porn into my shop. They couldn't be shown in Literotica because the heroine/victims all seem very young. I destroyed the books, something I am usually very reluctant to do.

That's something that still amazes me about Japan. For a country where it's illegal to depict pubic hair (or at least was, not sure how it is now), they have an unsettling amount of interest in 14-year olds in both sexual and non-sexual manga and anime.

I will say this is a pet peeve of mine. I love the idea of erotic anime. Many of the artists are really very good. The men and women can be stunning. Often, because it is drawn, the creators actually have to give characters to the people and use the voice in important ways. Audio is so big to me. But then when I try to find something I like, I encounter again and again things that turn me away instantly - young looking participants, non-consent relationships, etc. And it always results in a backclick to get away from it. If someone could create erotic anime with actual women depicted who enjoy each other, they'd have something. But it almost never goes that way.
