Hi there! Although I am probably in the minority here, I am a big fan of the show Supernatural and would like to find other fans to talk to. Feel free to drop in and say hello, even if it is not your cup of tea.

You can still share your impressions about it as you watch it! I love hearing what first time watchers think as they go through the different episodes. I will try to post any later season discussion with warnings until you catch up, okay? Seasons 1-5 are my favorites and although the later seasons are still okay, there are a lot of continuity issues after Eric Kripke left the team to pursue other writing projects. so, that would be my recommendation. Enjoy 1-5 and just sorta take it or leave it with the rest.

No need to warn me about things LOL.....things like that don't really ruin it for me. Besides I'm used to watching things way after society has commented on them so its no biggie.

I can't remember the episode, but there was one that had all three of us on the edge of our seats, LOL. My daughter didn't want to go to bed afterwards. It was the one that had a poltergeist I believe. I have such a horrible memory when it comes to movies and shows, I see a something and I say oh I want to see that, and my children say, Dad, you already have, LOLOL......for me I guess there are more important things to remember.

I've gotten soo addicted to this show after checking out the first season at the local library. So much so that I've been through all seasons twice now and can't wait for season eight.

I love the wisecracks made by Dean and the hilarious ways of Cass and learning along the way about being human.

There were a couple of episodes like that. The one that directly comes to mind though is "Home" when they go back to their old house in Kansas and have to fight a spirit that is terrorizing the woman and her children who live there now.

Me too! Heehee! Castiel is so adorable! He is my favorite aside from Dean. So many great moments with him, like when Dean took him to the whore house and he got all nervous. Or when Dean took him to a police station and they were both pretending to be FBI agents and Castiel pulled out his badge upside down and tried to tell the police chief all about angels and demons.

My absolute favorite though was in Season 6, when he watches porn for the first time. I love that scene so much! Dean yells at him for talking about the porn he is watching and then when Samuel shows up a little later and comments on it, Castiel glibly says "We are not supposed to talk about it."

Yes, she definitely is. It gets so much bigger.

I had a bad feeling about her with that dumbass haircut. It did not fit her face at all and she looks a bit like a little boy sometimes.

I am not prepared to hear "Carry On My Wayward Son" again. And you just know they are going to end this season with everything left unresolved and more questions than answers! And they WILL NOT have Dean and Cas reconcile by the end of this season! Because the writers are dicks.

So, this was a really emotional time for me. My livestream crapped out in the middle last night and kept skipping but I caught up today and here is a summation of my feelings regarding the episode in a gif:

But I did watch last night's episode. I loved everything about it, from the opening sequence to the final scene!

Oh and it also reaffirmed why I don't do online dating, I would soooo end up with the King of Hell!

Wow, I'm trying to think of the individual episodes. I liked the ones with the ghost hunters, those geeky guys, the girl who was the super fan, the one where they were in a parallel universe watching themselves as actors... all the really dark, creepy eps are blurring together, but I do love those. I'll have to think of some more. I need to do a marathon viewing weekend.

I am a Dean!girl too! Although Sam can get me pretty emotional, Dean has been my fav since the beginning. Castiel is my second favorite. He is hilarious when he actually tries to fit in with the guys.

Yeah! The Ghostfacers! XD Haha! Love those guys! And I love the episodes with Becky and Chuck too. That one time Becky was writing Wincest fanfiction at her computer - omg, that is so me!

You should! It is all available for streaming on Netflix all the way up to season 8.

I also like Lucifer's episodes too but because I like Mark Pellegrino, the actor who plays him. Also, have you seen that episode called "The End" where Zachariah sends Dean to 2014 and he meets up with himself and human Cas in the apocalypse?

Gosh, that scene was sad and beautiful. You just know that since Castiel is human now, he is going to be blaming himself for what happened. I posted my theories in another thread but I will repost them here:

The ingredients for Metatron’s spell were:

1. Find the angel who loves humanity the most

2. Persuade him to kill a Nephillim, one of the children born of angel/ human love

3. Persuade him to take away a Cupid’s bow, the instrument by which Heaven helps people to fall in love

4. Rip out the, now tainted, grace of the angel who loves humanity the most

God instructed angels to love humans above all else.

Metatron’s spell was aimed specifically at defiling signs of love between angels and humans (love which God explicitly commanded), thus bringing about expulsion from Heaven.

The angels fall because Metatron’s spell recasts the original angelic sin (the one which got Lucifer thrown into the pit) that of not loving humanity.

Poor Cas, his love for people (and Dean specifically) made him the essential ingredient.

Too much heart was always Castiel’s problem…


Also, my favorite theory about this next season has to do with the episode in season 5 titled "The End" where Dean travels to the year 2014 and meets up with not only his future self but a human Cas and Sam ends up saying yes to Lucifer, who tells Dean that " no matter what you do, all roads end up here." This theory gives me chills because next year is 2014...

Do you think Castiel will retain his memory? I sort of thought Metatron was sending him forth to multiply so to speak, but I had the impression that he would just be an ordinary human now.
