Alright, guys, here goes a new thread.

This will incorporate a lot of interesting situations. Mind control. Orgies. Pain, Dominance, submission, spirituality, and maybe even love.

This one is based around a man who grew up in a small, conservative town and was berated and teased for his differences, most pronouncedly, his sexual awareness and deviance. After leaving the town, he went on to study psychology, human sexuality, and many cults and dogmas. In college, he was roommates with a chemist who developed a very potent hallucenagin-aphrodisiac that he paired with his charmismatic magnetism, persuasion, and intelligence, helped him pioneer a sexual-spiritualist movement with temples in Detroit, Sao Paolo, Brazil, London, England, and Osaka, Japan. He is making plans for his next temple... one that will provide a measure of personal satisfaction that is only acheivable through revenge. He is setting up shop in the place he long ago left with no plans to return... the podunk town he grew up in: Crossacre, Nebraska.

LitShark is playing this cult leader, Ethan Paige. I'll be playing his childhood/highschool best friend. But we have a lot of options open with this... He's going to need some "priests" and "priestesses" of the Temples of Aphrodisia. (Particularly, if you're interested, this provides some openings for people who might be interested in playing Brazilian, Japanese, or British.) We want some naive, ready-to-tranform people from good ole' Crossacre, Nebraska that can be plucked from their mundane lives (and sex lives) and plunked into the orgiastic, sensual world of the Temple. And also, it might be interesting to play Lyle, the chemist, who had a hand in Ethan Paige's master plan. Anyways, we're open to any character ideas, just put up a bio in this thread before you start posting. After a bit, LitShark should have up the IC.

Name: Katherine Hawlen
Gender: Female
Appearance: Her height is barely an average 5'4", and even heels can't help her. Her long, black hair is usually pulled back in a braid or ponytail, accenting her sharp, elegant features, and her soft, grey eyes. By no means fat, she still has a soft, plush look to her and carries herself well, giving the impression of more slimness than she has with her rather nice legs.
Bio: She lived a very quiet, almost boring, life in Crossacre, Nebraska. From the normal standpoint of most Americans, she couldn't have done any better given her position. From a poor, divorced family, she learned early that she had to look out for herself if she wished to succeed. So, she did the best she could in school, graduating in the top 10% of her class. In college, she published a few novels, becoming a well-renowned author at a young age. Though she wrote under a pen-name, her fame helped her through her last years, getting her PhD in Theatre.

Now, she has a small, stone house near the campus of the college she teaches at, continuing to publish novels even as she remains out of the spotlight.

I like it!

The only thing that i would say is that the religion is far from mainstream, and the people of Crossacre are somwhat removed from pop culture anyway, so they wouldn't have any concept or opinion about the new religion. That's part of the appeal. Otherwise a great character.

Mina tried college. She hated it.
She had barely done well in high school. Not that she was a bad student, but she hated to study, to listen to authority. To sit and think, to follow all those rules- no, she preferred to be on her own, to find out things for herself. Everything they tried to teach her was things she already knew. Instead, she dropped out of her Social Sciences classes after a few weeks- something her father, the man she had relied on for so much, wasn't happy with in the least.
Now broke, kicked out of her dad's house, and living in a small studio apartment, she works at a job she hates at the video store. Trying to make ends meet has even left her far too little time to find a boyfriend.
Life really seemed to suck anymore.
Man she hated this town.

Appearance: Anna has deep green eyes, long brown hair that goes a little bit past her shoulder blades. She loves to wear colors that stick to her, showing her beautiful flesh of her breasts and her long legs. Her body a tan color with an average body type with a little muscle in her legs and her arms.

Bio: Anna lost everything in her life, her mother and father were killed when she was only ten. Now lost in the world she is alone, has no one, no family, no friends, no nothing. Unfortunately since she was ten she has been homeless, fighting for money to get food. Being out on the streets most of her life she can be rather bitter, but no matter what she is the kind of girl that is rather kind and gentle, just wanting to be loved and taken care of, now at the age of eighteen she is lost in a world of darkness.
