I would greatly appreciate someone shedding some light on me. I think my stories are at least decent when I write them, but then I go back and read them and think 'Shit, I suck.' repeatedly. Mayhap it's my crappy keyboard; because of its crappiness I end up with several mispelled words that make me look like a gargantuan fool. I'm sure there are some people who understand this, at least I hope. Anyhow, to prevent any further deviation, if someone would read my stories, namely "Discontinuity", and tell me what they think, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd appreciate it even further if they included pithy details explaining why I suck rather than simply calling me a blithering idiot. Anyone who wastes their time will have my eternal gratitude, and if you live in my vicinity I'll give you oral. eh....if you're a guy I'll pay someone to perform the said service. Thank you.

Hun, lol not meant to be a sexy thing but like me... kind hearted!!! I love to help people. I am a writer myself and know how important feedback is.

LMAO about the anyhow... I read your story Discontinuity and thought mmmm ... potential definitely but some small phopahs. (Email me if you wanna know what I mean) So, you don't suck at all but hey I'm no expert! I'm on a learning curve too with my writing. There is always room for improvement. :) Nor are you an idiot.

Mr Unsexy,

I did read your story and it has several good points, not the
least of which is that it's a story; the reader (me) does develop
an interest in what's going to happen, although the outlines are pretty clear.
Yes, there are ways in which the writing, at times, 'sucks'--where it sounds like 100 other porn stories. I'm not sure if you want a list, though one could be made. Often, however, there is a nice, fresh touch-- I kind of liked the dry-hump scene in the hallway.

I haven't donned my English Language Nit-Picker hat lately, but I am today. For those of you who don't know me, in my early days at Lit, I reguarly annoyed people by ranting about the value of the proper use of the English Language.

It should be spelled "faux pas," which, incidentally, are small social blunders, not errors made in writing.

I've probably made a faux pas in mentioning this in the first place. ;)

WS

Whisper, I love it when you put on your English Language Nit-picker Hat! LOL, I think you should wear it every day!

If I wore it everyday, people would begin to hate me in droves (if they don't already.) As it stands, I only wear it when my hair is dirty. ;)
