Tell me about this place

It is what you make it.

If you want to participate and learn how the Author's Hangout works and who is who, then you will enjoy it.

If you want to challenge everyone and change it to your own conception of what it should be, you'll hate it.

That sounds a lot like life. Good advice.

That's what we boring old farts are here for - to give advice that can be ignored.

Don't stop to consider those things. It could lead to 'Centipede's Dilemma'.

I like it here. That's enough.

Place is what you wish to define it to be. Some like to engage in real conversation; some like to be tittled and to titillate; some are looking for cybersex and sexual fantasy fulfillment (me) and others like the idea of anonymous exhibitionism. Kinda up to you!

Centipede's Dilemma?

Someone asked a centipede how he managed to walk. When he thought about it he couldn't walk anymore. Walking for a centipede is too complex to be handled by rational thought.

Same with a lot of things. If you think about them, you often stop doing them.

I like it here. I've had a lot of fun. Why analyze it?

It's fun.

That answers both your questions.

I suspect he meant me, Stella :(

Why me all the time?

Because you and I are known bitches, and can take it as well as we can dish it out. :D

I'm here for the free buffet (avoid the ceviche) and the flexible dress code. In any other social setting, wearing a feather boa after Labor Day would have made me a pariah.
