Nope. Being anti-PC just means that you have the ability to assess and dissect your own emotions. I have not met a single person capable of doing that who supports PC. Ever.

"Political correctness" is at best an misguided attempt to police our behaviour so nobody's feelings get hurt. But this is still a repressive and un-American idea. We have a huge mental health problem on our hands in New Zealand because psychologists won't touch it, and I'm not joking here. A not insignificant number of people are so mentally unstable that they feel trauma looking at "Trump 2016" here, too. If there were no political connotations involved, I am sure you would agree with me that such people are unwell and need help.

The real problem with PC, though, is that its aim isn't to keep people "safe" but to make any conflicting political views socially unacceptable to voice. The left uses social shaming and intimidation to control discourse. If you object, you are called a racist, sexist or some other -ist, which is akin to branding someone for heresy. So PC is a very effective weapon, psychologically, and it is dangerous because it stops us from dealing with external threats like terrorism and immigration.
