Technical help needed

Help,

I hope some of you authors who submit regularly here can help me. I submitted a story a week ago and it was posted today. However I noted that the description had been edited. The edited description is grammatically incorrect.

Is there someone I can email to fix this problem.

Please lend a hand to this poor helpless non tech person.

I have worked on this novel for three months and I hate to see it start off with a poorly written description.

Hi Jill,

First of all, the person to contact is Laurel. But, don't email her, send her a PM (that way it's less likely to get lost amongst spam). To PM her, click on one of the sticky threads she's started at the top of this forum, then click on her username and select "send Laurel a private message".

As for why your description might have been changed, I can't really answer that. But, I do know it happens quite a lot (it's happened to me at least twice). I think sometimes it's because they want to shorten it, or just make it more suitable for the category and/or story.

Anyway, take it up with Laurel, I'm sure she can help you resolve this.
