Technical Difficulty

Hi,

I am pretty new here. I joined because a friend of mine is familiar with this site and thought it might just be the place for me. I write stories and have been doing so for a great many years. My problem is that I have difficulty with certain words that are used as slang terms for the human anatomy, especially the ones for the female reproductive organs. The people who have read my stories in the past understood that and actually thought it cute. I would like to start submitting stories here but am afraid that if I don't use standard slang, they will not be posted or if they are, will not be well received. Any suggestions?

Don't worry about it being posted unless you use characters that are under eighteen. Animals, and some rape stories get banished to AllExtreme.com, but even extreme stories won't get posted if they contain children.

Somewhere around here, is a thread on euphemisms for genitals and sex acts. There's lot's of "non-standard" slang for you to choose from there.

Read a few of the stories here, and you'll find a wide reange of descriptive phrases from clinically accurate latin words to kid-style "peepee" and "thingy" and most anything in between. If your descriptive phrases fit your style, and fit your characters, then there's nothing to worry about.

PS This site also offers a link to a list of volunteer editors who can help you clean up the typos and grammatical errors in your story, and if asked, can offer advice on most aspects of storytelling.

Also, there is a revision of the site in the works to do away with the long lag time from submission to posting. You might consider waiting for the new scripts to go up before you submit. The wait will be about the same either way, so it's up to you. It would be one less thing for LAurel and Manu to get out of the way before the scripts go online.

As a writer new to Literotica My advice is to post a story and watch the story feedback area after posting a thread asking for feedback there. I would be interested in your stories for sure. I have some problems with certian words myself. I just use the words i use and the reader can enjoy or not. Mostly from the feed back they enjoy.

Have you considered getting a reference book?
I just picked up a book called 'Slang And Euphemism: A Dictionary of Oaths, Curses, Insults, Ethnic Slurs, Sexual Slang and Metaphor, Drug Talk, College Lingo, and Related Matters' Second Revised Edition, by Richard A. Spears.

It's 500 pages of strange and neat words and phrases. Pick up that or a similar text. Soon, your men will stick their holy pokers into their female partners Cupid's cloisters, while together they play at tops and bottoms.

Use the discription of the acts that comes to your mind in YOUR everyday life. The reader will understand your intent, and will find your discription to be different, and thus refreshing. "Probing her womb with his being" is a lot more interesting then, "Fuck me, man."

You might try the link below, go to the site map, click on the faq section, scroll down to the General Information portion and you will find a lot of resources like slang uses, how to do almost anything sexual with anotmical corectness, etc. It may be helpful.

That looks like a very good resource. I checked it out and the only complaint I have is how slow it loads every page. That is one thing I like about Literotica. It loads fast! Me are spoiled. Did you know that if a page takes more than 20 seconds to load most people will bail rather then keep going. I have DSL so it is nat a fault from this end and it may be just tonight while they are uploading or something. I will keep trying to search it but in the mean time look thru FAST literotica! hehehe

They are totally non profit ( irs allows a tax deduction ) so they are slow. They've also been arround forever so the equipment is held together with bailing wire and chewing gum. But they have lots of stoories and resources
