Duct tape did a bang up repair job. Going to force a hard restart soon and see if I can trigger the power button

Tried to fire up the laptop and recieved no response. I think I need to focus on screen repair first.

In the light of the events I daresay that fire won't enlighten your situation brightly. If you're so hot for it you should really stick to my advice, try glue instead.

My sympathy that this once so vivid non-sense has died down. It once was fed with hot air, but now it's cold dead. Shut down in the back, no instant manual help could revive it. May the next one threaded better, to the letter.

I can only assume all of the geekettes are stuck behind firewalls and to buried in technical issues to provide reinforcement for my unique situation. I guess I will have to complete this mission solo.
I will update after intense research into similar trajectories

By the look on the little thing's face it may have been compromised by the Stagefright exploit.

So it may just be a misfire attempt due to overexposure in a situational awareness situation?

Maybe with less publicity it will recalibrate correctly

I apologize for the horrific display appearing on the screen for the grammar fetishists.
The battlefield in my mind has seen a long and gruesome struggle between my dyslexia processor and the attempt to proofread app. I will ensure the editing program currently running in the background of this skirmish receives a complete upgrade to prevent this preposterous occurrence from reoccurring in the future.

I myself have cracked under relationship pressure. I should specify quickly I started this mission critical thread meerly as a hope to make at least one tech/geek (techette/geekette) smile, while merging a technical aspect to the artillery of humor, due to a personal macabre experience. I attempted to relieve my stress with munitions, but it was a geekettes humor that reconciled the situation... Causing a simple smile to fix my day, I was hoping to pass along the joy. I really did not expect this thread to be able to expand to this extent of humor or this continued corniness, as it is and has always been completely off topic for this forum area... To the point it wouldn't be funny, if there wasn't a bunch of humor involved to begin with.
My experiences in other forum areas have proven to be extremely moderated. Examples ranging from multiple threads being combined into one because they were "basically the same" to deleted/removed threads for no reason and posts being removed for unspecified prohibitions (i.e. size). The fact that this thread still remains and is continuing in providing humor is an encouraging sign (even if it should probably be moved elsewhere, because it really is off topic for this area).
I just wish the amusement being allowed here could be past to other forum areas were even completely on topic threads are removed for no reason...
Okay I can only deal with so much seriousness without being paid so...
