grrrr, how do I out a pic into the text of a message? ty from a still learning newbie

You can only have the pic show up if it's on the web somewhere.

In that case, just click the IMG button above the textbox where you type your replies.

If it's a pic on your hard drive, you can hit the Browse... button to upload it.

Be aware that doing so is known as "hotlinking" or "band-width stealing" and most sites don't allow it. Like Angelfire and errata. What happens is bandwidth is used on their server everytime someone opens a thread with a hotlinked pic in it but they get nothing for that usage.

The pic in the text has to already be on the web somewhere, then a link created.

then you have to use HTML commands.....but there is a button for that. The above pic is at:

if you have an addy as above, hit the IMG button in the vB code section, type in the http address in the window that pops up, and if it is correct 'WALLA' you have a pic in text.
