Teach a man to submit edits

And he'll never have to ask again. I’ve been trying to submit the edited version of my only submission for 2 weeks now. I placed “ - EDITED” after the story title. I did not view or edit the story after submitting so I wouldn’t mess it up that way either. The 48 hr period has passed quite a few times now. I’ve tried leaving it alone thinking maybe it needed more time for someone to get around to it and I’ve tried deleting it and submitting again.
I also did this…
“If after 48 hours your submission edits are still not showing, please email us a link to the work in question”
…a week ago with no response or change. I completely understand that everyone is busy, or doesn’t receive payment. I’m not complaining, since I am new, I assume it’s me that’s missing something here. I would much rather some answers that help me understand and handle it better than ones involving me bothering someone else who is very busy. All I’m asking is if there’s anything I can do to push this through or what obvious thing I’m probably missing.

Professor_Chaos - It takes longer for an edited story to be approved and posted than a new story. Also, every time you looked at it and submit it, it goes to the end of the queue.

You submit an edited story just like a new story. You have that right and you have the - EDIT on the title correct. You should also at a not to the the editor that this is and edit and include the link to the story in the note.
