So I consider Tattoos a fetish... I know from having them painted ( no pain with paint) on me... and where they want them painted on me... they can be sexxy... in so many ways :) But so permanent!

So if I get one... A big if! Questions...

For the Men:

What do you think? What should I get design wise? And where on my body should I get it?

For the women that have them:

What did you get? Where did you get it on your body? Do you regret it???

I'd love to know!

My opinion is to avoid tattoos all together, but one or two small ones can be nice. Please avoid tattoos on breasts, chest or torso. Small, around the wrist, is perhaps best for women.

Iam a bi guy and I love all men and women, but there are two things that are a total turn-off for me. Tattoos and smoking!

By all means, yes! I think they're very sexy. A rose, heart, or butterfly on the very top of the rear hip is so hot. Like, at the top of your butt cheek, but over to the right or left side. For example: :rose:

Make it about an inch or so in length. Perfect and so sexy!

I have 3 - one on my lower stomach, one on my wrist and one on my upper arm. All very tasteful but I want a back piece.

No.

NO.

NO!!!

Absolutely fucking NO!!!!

Unless you're in a carnival.

Wow I got you to start a poll what’s my prize lol. Did they ever finish the painting your first time or were they distracted by your beauty? How many times have you been painted on?

They can be very alluring but it depends on the woman. If she cultivates an overall aesthetic of punk rock rebellion, then I can’t resist: Suicide Girls, retro pinup, So Cal rockabilly doll, Bettie Page. If she’s some suburban lady who got it in college while pledging a sorority, then I’m not at all aroused.

I personally like tattoos and my wife and I each have one. It's something we both had wanted for years but like some of the previous responses we kept hearing people telling us not to get one because you'll regret it and they are permanent. We decided that if we were to get one it had to be tasteful and have meaning and not get one because it's the latest fad. My wife was first to get one and she chose a "Tramp Stamp" which is a description I don't care for. It's a beautiful piece of work and is a tribute to our kids and grandkids. Yes we are old 59 & 60 and mine is on my left shoulder blade and also representative of our kids and grandkids. You don't mention how old you are and it's not important except if it's going to be on your stomach region and you plan to be pregnant. That cute little dolphin will become a whale as you proceed in you pregnancy. If you're past that then get one wherever you feel it's best placed. Another thought is even as tattoos become more accepted future job interviews may be affected by such placements so I would suggest getting one where it's not seen all day everyday. People will say why get one then if you can't see it. To them it say " I didn't get it for you, I got it for me!!"

I have seen other threads on here about tattoos and a lot of people get super hostile and angry about them. I think they are fine.

If you have enjoyed having things painted on you before, maybe get a tattoo of something like you enjoyed in paint. Start small and discreet, see how you like it. Don't go straight to the face tattoo ;)

I am a Disney freak and a hot wife. My favorite character is the original slut - Tinker Bell.
I want a tattoo of Tink on my pelvis, left side, between belly button and c-section scar.

I am personally a fan of tattoos (only 1 myself, but it's a half sleeve). However I think that there's something to be said about putting it where you are comfortable. I am not a fan of neck tattoos or large amounts. However, a couple of tasteful ones can be very sexy.

I think the design needs to be personal and have meaning - it's there for life. If you have a design and a location, wait 6 months. If you still want it - get it.

From a man's perspective, they're not really my thing, but I don't mind them unless they're really gaudy, i.e., sleeves, back, large areas of the leg like thighs, back of thighs or covering a large area of the calf, and most certainly breasts, which I don't get at all. To me each of those just covers what is naturally a beautiful part of the female body.

That said, smaller more inconspicuous ones can be sexy such as butt/hip, bikini line.....and if readily visible, maybe the ankle or wrist. But always small. My suggestion would be go with something like that or nothing.

My personal opinion on tattoos is that 1 leads to 2, 2 leads to 4 and so on.... I know of several otherwise good looking women that have multiple tattoos and have destroyed their natural beauty by having tatts. Tattoos are a complete turnoff to me.

Not a fan

I hate that tattoos have become such a thing. I can't understand why women would ruin their bodies like that. Call me old fashioned, whatever. Like someone else said, tattoos and smoking are huge turnoffs for me.

I will not put a bumper sticker on a Cadillac. It's not my thing.

Mine's more like an old beat up F150 with a bad transmission, severe oil leak and two flat tires, but I still ain't splatterin' ink all over it.

thumbs up on that. Why mess up a beautiful thing

To re-iterate, I have noticed a lot of people on here are super hostile to tattoos. I don't know what it is, but for a fetish-y sex place, it is surprisingly uptight on this particular issue.

I equate it (and excess piercings) to cutting, hair pulling and other forms of self mutilation.

I don't mind small tasteful ones, like on the buttock or the wrist or ankle or hip. That's almost like jewelry. But large ones that show when you have short sleeves or short pants, or that cover a considerable portion of an arm or leg or torso, are a definite turn-off for me. I want a woman to look naked when she's naked!

That said, I don't get hostile about it. If someone wants to ink themselves up, it's their body. I don't have to look at it.
