None; a Domme gives orders, not requests.

An audition implies the possibility of acceptance/rejection; in one sense the relationship between a Domme and a Sub is one long audition, with the Domme having the right to end it whenever she sees fit.

A Sub who comes to a new Domme is either handed over by his/her previous Domme, in which case (s)he has no choice in the matter, or is coming into the lifestyle for the first time in which case a total commitment is made from the first moment they meet. Thus, in another sense, there is no "audition" as such. Anything else is mere playacting.

I appreciate your input and I know that you are very correct in your statement. But, I posted this in Story Ideas because that's what it is. So, it IS playacting...lol I'm looking for ideas for a story I'm about to start working on.

When you are talking a story about a domme/sub unless you are doing it in the sub's perspective all you have to do is figure out what the domme is like, the sub does what they are told.

Culminating into how well the sub performs sexually. The final test as it were.

I think some general boundaries would have to be agreed upon beforehand...followed by a general test of compliance bringing both parties close to the edge.

I've never been interested in any form of pain, but various forms of psychological bondage is lovely. My husband never wanted to participate when I was married, but I would enjoy certain fantasies.

Like having him stop me at the door before leaving for work and instructing me to hike up my dress and rip open the back of my pantyhose, so I would have to walk around all day like that at the office!!!

Yes, I did, and yes, that's how it goes if you are just role playing at being a D/S couple.

My point, there are no boundaries if it is real, only if it is role-playing, with a safeword.

That's what matters here - don't let me put you off, but remember that although they each are playing a role, a good actor does their level best to get into the mind of the real person. Even though the actor playing Hamlet is over the moon at getting the part, he still needs to sound suicidal in the "To be, or not to be ..." speech.

Excellent point! With some creative/artistic license, I hope I'll be able to come up with something both entertaining and realistic. Realistic in the sense that the genre novice can appreciate and believe the situation and the genre veteran can be entertained by the possibilities in spite of knowing that it doesn't usually happen that way.

-Mail photos of self in embarrassing pose or clothing (see above) to domme for safekeeping and possible future blackmail

-Wear chastity device for extended period of time.

-Endure spanking or caning. If the sub complains too much for the domme's liking, he/she fails the test.

-Slide large sum of money under front door of domme's home. If the domme does not open the door, the sub returns the next day and slides a larger amount of money under the door again. The sub repeats this until the domme opens the door and allows the sub inside.

I fully agree, I was just trying to move the conversation away from "the sub does whatever the domme wants" which doesn't help a writer trying to get specifics.

Almost all of these involve punishment, but most subs are masochists and therefore punishment is deliberately sought.

Well I did not originate this rice idea.Actually, it came from a femdom collaborator I worked with several years ago.She ran a wedding organizer business and had quite a quantity of rice left after the birdseed throwing at weddings took hold.Rather than dispose of the rice,she used it for her naughtier subs.

My dad mentioned his mother making him kneel in rice as a punishment. He actually chuckled about it, though he said it was painful! And considering the fact that should had to start walking him to school to make sure he'd go...and he started running a different route and beating her back home, I have to say that Daddy deserved it!
