Tarot Card Readers?

Does anyone here know how to read Tarot cards? If so, would you be willing to chat with me about it?

This is for a story I'm writing. I haven't gotten to that part yet but should be there within a day or two (or three ). I just wanted to find out who I could ask before I get there.

What's the point of Tarot cards?

Like, I realize its a recreation... and any bookstore's got a few decks on a shelf somewhere... but, are we to say it /works/ on something more than a psychological level?
