maybe not an "A" list star but I still liked her in the shows that she played in

"Tanya, née Victoria Leigh Blum, starred as Bond girl Stacey Sutton opposite Roger Moore's 007 in the 1985 flick A View to a Kill.

She appeared in a number of campy genre films and comedies throughout the late 1970s and 1980s, including 1979's Racquet, 1982's The Beastmaster, 1984's Sheena and 1986's Body Slam.

She is perhaps best known for her role on That '70s Show as Midge Pinciotti, mom to Laura Prepon's character Donna. The popular Fox sitcom ran for eight seasons before signing off in 2006."
 
Fake dead?

"LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tanya Roberts, who captivated James Bond in “A View to a Kill” and later played Midge Pinciotti in the sitcom “That ’70s Show,” has been hospitalized after falling at her home. The actor had mistakenly been reported dead by her publicist earlier Monday.

Roberts' publicist Mike Pingel later told The Associated Press Monday afternoon that Roberts, 65, was still alive as of 10 a.m. PST but was in a poor condition. He had said earlier Monday that Roberts collapsed in her home on Dec. 24 and was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was believed to have died on Sunday.

Pingel said Robert's husband, Lance O'Brien, told him that he held his wife and she “seemed for him to slip away."

The publicist said he is awaiting further updates on Roberts' condition.

Multiple media outlets, including the AP, reported Roberts' death. The AP removed its obituary and sent an advisory noting that the actor was still alive."

So before she was just “mostly dead”? Should’ve called in Miracle Max.

What an odd set of events though. Might need to find Beastmaster to give it a watch in her honor.
 
before her partner just assumed she died because she "faded out" while he was visiting and he just bolted. i can kind of understand that. watching people slowly die before your eyes is horrible. he likely just had a mini-breakdown.
 
Confirmed dead (again) this morning, according to Cedars Sinai hospital.

What an odd saga.
 
"With a heavy heart, I can confirm the death of Tanya Roberts (age 65) last night on January 4, 2021 around 9:30pm PT at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles CA," her representative, Mike Pingel, said in a statement to E! News. "Her 18-year domestic partner Lance O'Brien received the phone call from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last night at their home confirming her passing."
 
Sorry I now realise this is old news, but having watched 'View To A Kill' last night I had absolutely no idea after looking her up on Wiki. In that film, surely women don't get more beautiful? Seems uncertainty over cause of death bless her but C-19 strong culprit. RIP beautiful girl :(
 
Sadly prior to her real death I see there were many reports on it being a fake one, with her partner apparently shocked when told she was still alive. Frankly if a beautiful girl's partner looked like that cunt I think they'd always fake their death
