Is there anybody here who have explored Tantra in real life or even energetically?

I have heard how exploring it in the right spirit can gift you with a deeper spiritual connection with everything! Whether it is the oneness with your partner, or the subtle way the chakra centers of the body fire up, raising the kundalini energy from the base chakra to the top of the head.....exploding in the orgasm of light....this...is something I wish to experience. I did experience it energetically a couple of times with somebody I was in deep love with in a long distance relationship . Would love to learn more.

Tantric Sex - Tantra as a invoker of spiritual oneness is something I am curious about. But I am aware that only a few might understand this magic.

Do feel free to share in here or reach out if that suits you.

Got into it a long time ago and remember trying several positions with the wife. It was fun but we did not get to far into it.

Hmm I see. Thanks for sharing @Wildfly11 .But does it have a deeper spiritual side? Have you experienced that deeper one-ness, a kind of Universal depth when exploring the higher aspects of Tantra (not just positions as a sexual act) ?

Not I!!! Maybe if you're into it for a long time with someone who is in the same wave length. Hopefully someone is able to answer your questions.

To an extent, yes, but I wouldn't say my involvement with tantra was quite to the extent of making me especially knowledgeable, especially as it wasn't what anyone would call "traditional". Eastern tantra blended with western ceremonial magic, a la Kenneth Grant.

In my experience, it can be intense, both as a spiritual experience and simply from the physical standpoint, but finding partners who are enthusiastically invested in the practice can be a challenge, depending on your social climate.

I suppose somebody who is experienced in it both on the physical and spiritual spectrum, would be a beautiful person to learn from...

Isn’t it basically slow sensual foreplay and orgasm denial ?

Not that I ever tried it
Physically, that covers a lot of it in very general terms. But, there's also aspects that lean more into the spiritual and mental facets of yoga/meditation. Your mental focus plays a role, which can include things like mantras, sacred images, ritual settings, music, and so on. There's a derivative form of "tantra" that's just fancy sex, but that's like calling the version of yoga done in LA yoga studios "real yoga". In both cases, you're looking at a largely physical practice derived from a broader spiritual context. In real tantra, sex is simply a tool/vehicle for spiritual development. It isn't the focus.

An analogy more familiar to western minds would be to look at the Catholic Mass and say that its basically drinking wine and eating crackers. From outside, yes, that's exactly what it looks like. But, to the Catholic, there's a vast and significant spiritual component which is the true purpose. The wine and communion wafer at just instruments for the spiritual experience of the mass.

Oh no! Tantra is more than that. There are only a few western treatises about it that brings out the true beauty and resplendency about Tantra. Tantra is a amalgamation of the physical and spiritual (spiritual first mostly..) which in the physical is deeply healing, aligns the chakras (energy centers) in impossible ways, opens up the greater purpose among individuals exploring this niche, specifically sexual energy that imbues in it a rather sacred natural energy when explored with the right consciousness. It is not slow sensual foreplay and no, it is not orgasm denial. It raises the sexual energy higher.........!!
