Tantalizing Tarot with SnowIris

Tarot! It's mysterious, a little spooky, and always fascinating(to me at least). From the time I first discovered it, tarot has offered me guidance. A thought provoking experience that more often then not leads me to find that the answer I was looking for was already in my heart or soul. I usually only read for myself or close friends, but I thought it might be fun to share some reads here.

I use The Reigning Rogue Tarot deck created and illustrated by Sam Sawyer with descriptions written by Dani Huard and Peri A., in case anyone wanted to know. Bold/Italicized font will be directly from the deck booklet. Anything else will be my own interpretation.

Tonight's card: The Page of Wands

Exploration, freedom, direction, creation, adventure

A message appeared in my armchair
Saying the band's come early to play
I'm whooping with glee all the way to town
The front row is for me, get out of my way!

As I was asking the cards if there was a fun message I could share here, this is the card that came up! I love it, and I think it's rather fitting. Lit for many is a place of exploration, freedom, direction, creation, or adventure. Most of the time I'd wager it's some combination of those things! It certainly is for me

I am a regular tarot card reading receiver and have my own deck now that I'll use at the beginning of each day to set my intention. This is great, thank you for sharing here. the deck that I use is called The Rose Oracle.

Action, impulsive, moving forward, disregard to danger

I've decided to become a walker of fire
I'll run through the flames with bare feet and great speed
I must and I will, it is my new desire
To race in the heat and to take no one's heed

Who's ready to be impulsive and throw caution to the wind? I love the bit about racing in the heat too. It makes me think of how vibrant life should be!

Happy memories, healing, moving forward, remembrance

I uncovered a threadbare teddy bear
A remnant from times forgotten
I recall the adventures we used to share
And suddenly feel way less rotten

Take some time to reflect on the positive memories today. Our hearts aren’t meant to only dwell on the painful ones.

Compassion, calm, comfort, dependence, softness, love

I will heal all of your sorrows

I will feed you today and water you tomorrow
And love you as you grow

We all need to be loved and cared for where we are. If you can, be that comfort and softness for someone today, and see how you are rewarded in turn.

Why do I feel like this is the Dom/Domme card? I just get that vibe from it, and I'm not mad about it

Today’s card: Four of Cups

Apathy, disconnection, acceptance, awareness

I’m focusing inward upon my cot
Shutting off all sights, sounds, and smells
If a hurricane strikes me I shall not stop
If a man cries in front of me I shall not help

An interesting card… one that seems to be a contradiction in itself. Maybe what it’s saying is that in order to gain true awareness one must disconnect from the distractions of the world.

Deeper purpose, more than mere pleasure or pain. The experience is enlightening and can lead you to truths about yourself if you let it.

Hello all! Sorry for the long delay, I was on vacation last week and didn’t get back home to my cards until late last night.

Today’s card: Two of Swords

Difficult choice, unable to decide, a stalemate

Two paths in front of me, which do I choose
Such decisions, a burden to bear
Still, I’m not helpless, not scared and confused
I am perfectly fine, yes, I swear!

I'm not usually into tarot readings but SnowIris makes it sound like a wild ride. The way they break down the cards and their interpretations is super easy to follow, even for a newbie like me. Plus, it's got this mystical vibe that's kinda cool. If you're into tarot or just curious, give it a read.
