So, I've got a question for all the women out there who use tanning beds. I was listening to a commercial on the radio for a tanning company that says "tan lines optional". Obviously my thoughts turned to a nude female in a tanning bed, but then I started thinking about the possibility of sunburn. This then led to me thinking about the scenarios of tanning not only sans bathing suit, but sans pubic hair. Which led to the following thoughts?

1.) Wouldn't bare labia (or scrotum for that matter) be more susceptible to burning because of the thinness of the skin.

2.) Has anyone ever sunburned their labia?

3.) If you didn't part your legs in an effort to protect your labia, wouldn't it look a little wierd? A nice golden brown body with a pale white mons?

Maybe this should have been in the YKYSTMTOL thread. I'll chalk it up to morning musings pre my caffeine burst.

I've tanned in a tanning bed naked and shaved, so here's my answers, based on nothing but my own personal experience, YMMV

1) Not sure on this one - I didn't realize that the skin on the labia was thinner...
2) Yuppers.... that part of my skin hadn't ever seen the light of day, so the first time I tanned, I got a low level burn (very low 1st degree). I just backed off on tanning for a few days, then went back to tanning for less time till the skin built up the tan like every other part of my skin.
3) N/A for me.... see #2 above.

Now.... for my evening, about to go to bed brain, what is YKYSTMTOL? I'm sure it's a thread that I just can't decipher the name of.....
