Tank You

Thanks for the pic McKenna. I was a medic in an armored battalion when the Abrams came into line. The vehicle in the right hand corner with the red crosses is the one I lived in for awhile.
You bring back alot of memories. I remember us standing in the desert of Texas cheering when these tanks roared through a river at full steam. The commander standing out of the hatch giving a fist to show they're better.

Thank you. You've given this old boy good memories.

Now, back to acting like a kid again. lmao

The proper form on this thread is:

TANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.

By the way, is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling that photo has certain phallic overtones?

Rumple Foreskin

I like the Leopard II better meself. Always liked German equipment.

But the Abrams is a nice piece of machinery.

I've been found out!

The Japanese had to go one better...

... with the Yamato and the Musashi and their 18.1 inch guns.

Or Gibraltar - the Army installed a 36 inch muzzle loader in the early 19th century. It was never fired in anger.

For me the ultimate tank is the Russian T-94.

If you examine the picture in the link carefully, you will see that a T-94 crew can always say, "mine is longer than yours!"

Yeah I dig Soviet and Russian armor. I didn't know they'd built anything more advanced than the T-90 though, which is an updated T-72 I believe.

Huh?

Right across the center of the keyboard... does that mean something?

It probably translates to something along the lines of boys and stupid and weird.
