I have lived in palm harbor and clearwater quite a while.you wont like it but at one time I was one of those dreaded snowbirds.now I haved here a number of years.the only bad time is late summer .its almost unbearable but then I travel north for a couple months and enjoy new england otherwise the weather and beaches are great. As for erotic fans you are aware of munchies in clearwater st pete and for that matter in newport richy.if not you might want to contact me.there are some very nice erotic folks in this area.
 
I was in the area of Clearwater/Largo for Thanksgiving and it was a tad bit colder than my east coast. Had a quiet time but good company. And I don't have any problems with the snowbirds - we love em here on the Space Coast. And yes we've learned to just smile and use our Southern manners when they complain that "up North we have this or do it different".

I definitely plan on going back for another visit and maybe even retire there in a couple of years. Love the beach on that side.:)

I vacation near Ft. Myers every year. Love the whole area. Siesta Key is beautiful.
 
Hi .... yes it was cooler and made turkey day nice.i enjoy the cooler temps for a change.just finished my xmas house decorating.my neighbors son strung all the lights and dragged the tree and decorations down from the garage attic.why I never did this before is beyond me I will pay him to tear them down and get into storage.yea! Sadly I am getting sick with a cold .my sis is here and wants to hit st pete for a nice dinner and some xmas light shows.so how long were you here and did you have a good holiday.
 
Yes siesta key is really grand.i also go to honeymoon island frequently and took the ferry over to caledseli as its about 5 minutes from the house.instead of good ole chix soup maybe go to indian rocks and slurp down some oysters and a bowl of she crab soup. Last week visited boca and while its nice I really love the west side .
 
Hi First
I was there for 3 days visiting my sister. She lives in a 55+ community and I have to say there were some sexy grandpas at the clubhouse for dinner and out by the pool.

I am doing good. Trying to keep a sinus infection in check but sore throat and ear ache doesn't help..... :(

I haven't even thought about getting christmas stuff out of the attic. I'm not sure I even know where most of it was stored. I had help putting all that away so not sure where it ended up. But I am off next week and will get it all done then ...... yeah that's my plan.
 
Our home is a 55 plus community.i actually like it.lots of golf and social events.i joined a men's club and help run a number of events I also got involved in a community group.keeps me busy and moving foward.i think it would perfect for you to move over here.

I'm near the countryside mall area myself, honeymoon island & tarpon lake.
We have a nice location here and a lot of sexy people too. I think the island, Honeymoon Island, is one of the best beaches in the USA! Not all that well known by the tourist and so we, locals, get it most of the year. Anyone for scouting ;) the back trails ?
 
I agree honemoon island is great for a lot of things.tragically yesterday someone not thinking about safety died from a boating incident.the waters are beautiful but unless you respect what power they have you can end up losing your life.sowhere are these trails you mentioned.theres some good ones up near brooker creek.

The "trails" are there on the north end of the island. Go to the last parking lot on the north end of the beach area's and just start walking. It's just sand and pine trees and pretty much sandy wilderness. The trails are marked and used by a lot of folk. Some "folk" more interesting than others, if you get my drift ;)
The Island is a state park.

I'm a former Pinellas Co resident. At one time Rt19 from Countryside to Tarpon Springs was nothing but orange groves. Makes me very sad to see what happened. I'm not against progress or growth, just wish it was better controlled.
 
The north end of Honeymoon for years in the late 70's was somewhat known as the place to go if you wanted to be nude on a beach. For the most the rangers left everyone alone until it got out of hand. Really a shame, use to spend lots of nude time there.
 
ST PETE here, came to town in 75, lot has changed, some good, some bad, such is life. Lot of stuff to do this time of year here, great weather. Going to the flea market this weekend, Wagon Wheel, lot of need stuff and people.

I will definitely try the trails and see who those interesting people are lol.where I live I understand was a orange grove, and I have heard from many native locals about how the population exploded and some really nice areas were developed.unfortnuately the current govenor wants torun rampant with growth and destroy more florida nature.lets hope what we have stays .it is beautiful and I plan to learn to kayak to explore alot of the preserves along the coast.
