Bill Cooper is a 6’4” tall man that weighs 265 and has a slim but toned physic. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is a single man that didn’t really have any luck with the opposite sex. So one day he decides to get a pet maybe if he got something to take care of he would learn to be sensitive to women’s needs and feelings. So he looked for a week off and on with no luck every animal in the pet shops he either couldn’t have or didn’t want. He was advised by one of his friends that to go to an exotic specialty pet shop. He had no clue what an exotic specialty pet shop was but seeing how he was striking out at the others he might as well give that pet shop a try.

He got up on morning and made his way to the pet shop his fried told him about. The pet shop looked normal enough from the front but that is where the normalness ended and some strange animal looking things started. He looked in some of the cages and seen that the animal looking things looked like a human in animal form. He walked around not sure if the apartment he was in would allow this or if he would have to pay more rent. “Welcome to The Furry Shop, how may I help you?” he heard a voice ask him from behind. Bill turns around and sees a smiling girl and asks “are these animals considered animals or human?”

“They are both but most people consider them as animals seeing how they are pets to some people.” The girl cheerfully said to him “Is there a particular furry you have in mind or are you new to this?” she asked Bill.

“I’m new to this actually.” He said to her. Then he spots a beautiful looking snow leopard and he asks the girl “What about that on is she for sale?”

“She is but she doesn’t get along with anyone she never bits people just swats at them if you want her we won’t discourage it we need her to be adopted seeing how the staff hates to deal with her. Just a warning though her previous owner wasn’t a caring person and did something to make her this way but we cannot figure out what it was.” the girl answers with.

Bill knelt down and began to look into the cage to get a better look at the leopard.

Sasha wasn't in the best of moods. To be truthful she was never in a good mood but she had tried to get some sleep and had been hopeful until the images and sounds and the feel of HIM came back. It tormented her every night and by now Sasha was positive she would probably never get another peaceful night of sleep ever again. Sasha was wielding a dagger, something she never let go of or let leave the clothes on her body, which were leather gloves, a black shirt and black jeans, no shoes or socks since they felt horrible. Suddenly she heard a guy talking before he knelt at her cage and Sasha's angry aura made some of the other furries whimper. Sasha looked up and glared, eyes cold and icy as she emitted a low growl, her teeth bared at him as she swiped. It wasn't enough to scratch him even if he didn't move but enough to make everyone she had met leave with another furry. Sasha was not one you wanted to buy, unless you were either into BDSM and were going to make her obey or you thought you could help her see that not everyone was bad. Well good luck with that Sasha thought, she wasn't going to be in any pet position, she had learned that men were just mean creatures that did what they wanted and abused their power and nothing could teach her different. So Sasha just kept glaring at this guy, wishing he would go away before glaring at the sales girl and baring her teeth at her, making the sales girl scurry away and Sasha looked pleased with herself before turning back to the guy.

Bill could see the Snow Leopard’s teeth and she didn’t scare him because she was just trying to defend herself form being hurt again. He looks at the cage and sees that the furry’s name is Sasha. “Hello Sasha I’m not going to hurt you girl just calm down… I don’t know what happened in your past but I’m not like your past owners I’m not going to treat you badly.” He said trying to calm Sasha down. He didn’t know what made her this way. What abuse she had to endure to make her act like this towards people. He could see the other furries where whimpering and cowering in fear. He wasn’t going to let her think he was easy to dominate or ready to run from anyone or anything. He figured Sasha needed a firm but loving owner at first until she learned that not every person was out to hurt someone or any animals. He just knelt there staring into the cage trying to beat her in the staring contest she was trying to have with him. HE was debating on whether or not he should stick his hand into the cage now or not seeing how she was swatting at him and he didn’t want to be the first one to get bit by her. He just sat there to see if she would let up on her harden stance. “I’m not planning on backing down from you at all so you can quite your harden attitude and show your true side… the loving side and your nice side I know you have one in you somewhere in you can’t be like this all the time.” He stated letting Sasha know he knew she had to have a softer side somewhere.

Sasha stared at the man, weirded out by what he was saying and doing, wavering for a moment before strengthening her resolve. So he thought he could change her huh? Well he was wrong. Nothing was going to change her views of men and her softer side was locked away in a box. Her being nice did nothing for her. It just made her easier to use. She had learned that the hard way, the memory making her eyes sad. "Good luck mister, you think you can change me? Please I already learned the hard way about you men. You are all the same, playing the nice guy just so you can use us later and throw us away when you're done. I'm not gonna fall for that ever again so don't try it." With that she looked away, fully expecting him to leave, her eyes sad and lonely though she didn't want to admit she was lonely.

James wasn’t deterred from trying to get her to believe him. He asked “how about I make you a deal I take you home with me and if I begin to treat you wrong I will personally find you another home with someone who you trust.” He stuck his hand in the cage knowing that she may tear it up or off showing her that he trusted her. He was going to show her no matter what she did to him he wasn’t the one to back down from her including loving her like she deserved. He could see that he caused her to waver a bit before she responded to him and he wondered if he was beginning to unlock the box that her softer side was in and maybe she would try to live with him and be loved. He didn’t know if she was going to swat at him again but he didn’t care he kept his hand in the cage waiting for her to turn around.

Sasha's ears perked at the mention of a deal but stayed turned. He wanted to make a deal huh? Was he kidding? What made him think she had anyone she trusted? She had no one, it was the reason she was so lonely. He did strike her as interesting though, even putting his hand in the cage. She looked back at him and as quick as lightning had his hand in hers, pulling it in further. "Ha. You call that a deal? How about this for a deal. I'll stay with you for three months. If you can't make me rethink my claim that all men are the same you have to say that I was right, that all men are the same, mean and hurtful. If you can though I will say that you were right and not all men are the same and if you still want me then I will stay. Good luck even trying that if you agree, which men are usually cowards so I don't think you will." Sasha then let go of his hand gently, not even one scratch on his hand before leaning back in the cage, the sales girl looking scared. Sasha though was quite interested, and to admit a little aroused. Wait what was she even thinking? Men were disgusting and despicable creatures who couldn't be trusted, let alone arouse her. Sasha's eyes showed a hint of interest in him though as she looked at him, a bored expression on her face, ready to growl again if she had to though to keep him from doing anything she disliked.

Bill looked at Sasha and said ‘deal but I won’t make you say anything if I prove you wrong.” He got up looking at the girl that was with him before she ran off and said “I’ll adopt her let her out so she can pick some things she wants and needs.” The girl just walks over to the cage and opened it the quickly made her way back to the counter. Bill looks over at the girl and sees a hopeful look in her eyes because Sasha was about to leave the store and wasn’t going to be a pain to the other staff for a time. Bill could hear some of the staff whispering and they were hoping that Bill was someone who would treat her right and that he wouldn’t’ end up bringing her back to be adopted again. Bill just stood there waiting for Sasha to get out of the cage and stretch herself out before she started shopping for things she wanted to have. “You can pick anything out that you want in the store Sasha and I will buy it for you.” He said just in case she didn’t hear him when he told the girl to let her out so she could get the things she wanted. He could still see the fear in the other animals and furries that was around her but ignored it because he could see she was just putting on an air so that she wouldn’t end up getting hurt again. He was still curious about what had happened to her in the past.

Sasha was now stunned. First he said he wouldn't make her say anything if she was wrong and actually took the deal? Of course men wouldn't think they were wrong. Hmph. He was going to learn, he was the same as anyone else, no different. He was a man after all, a stupid man who didn't know what he was doing. She wasn't stupid, and she would take great pleasure in his shocked expression once he finally blew at her and showed her she was right. All she had to do was stay strong, she could do this. She would probably be back in a week, no need to get excited or worry. Sasha got out of the cage though, walking over to take a few extra pair of clothes and a bouncy ball. If he was paying, might as well get some things. Next she got some of the candy they had, chocolate sticks which were her favorite. She then got a bag of catnip, smiling a little before going back to her bored expression. She then got a few nightgowns before putting them on the counter, getting her brush out of her cage before brushing past the guy, glaring. She then waited at the entrance, twirling her dagger.

Bill could see Sasha grabbing a few things off the shelf and out of her cag. He could see that she was shocked by his last statement and was determined to make him work for her trust. He just waited for her to get everything she needed and wanted. After she finished grabbing things he went over to the counter while they rang everything up. Bill could see everyone’s face when they heard that he was taking Sasha home. Their faces had a mix of disbelief and sorrow for Bill. He didn’t care what Sasha or the store employees thought he knew that he would eventually get Sasha to lighten up to him and trust him unlike she did with everyone else. He quickly gathered up the all the bags he had to carry and made his way to the door the seeing her twirling a dagger. He ignored the dagger and walked up to her and gave her a scratch behind her ear and sad “Well girl we better get going.” He walks by her to his car and he opened the door for her and waited for her to get to the car. He knew if anything would plant a seed of doubt in her mind his act may in fact do it.

Sasha was twirling her dagger when the guy came back and she growled and bared her teeth. "I have a name boy. It's Sasha. So don't call me girl, I'm a woman anyway. Ugh." Sasha was really annoyed. Ugh why wouldn't this guy just give up already, he was already ticking her off. It wasn't just cause he called her girl, it was more that he was so stubborn and not ready to give up. Sasha brushed off the scratch behind the ear even to be more stubborn, even though she soooo wanted to purr at it. She was going to show this guy who exactly he was dealing with, no matter what he thought he could do. She was astonished by his act of opening her door and narrowed her eyes into slits before getting in the car, arms crossed under her breasts, pushing them up a little and her legs crossed, seatbelt on, having lightning quick reflexes. She was a cat after all.

Bill put the bags in the trunk of the car then he got into the car. He looked at her and said to her “I’m sorry for calling you girl Sasha but if you would act like a woman instead of an animal maybe I wouldn’t have called you girl.” He put on his seat belt and put the car in drive leaving the parking lot. He couldn’t help but to say “You know it really isn’t fair to me that you are going to be putting me in with the other men that hurt you… if you would just relax you may just enjoy staying with me.” He hated to say that to her but it needed to be said seeing how she was projecting past insecurities onto him because of something someone else did to her.

Sasha was furious with this guy. Her aura was ten times worse now then when he even got there and she had enough. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU KNOW?! The worst you probably have ever been through was put in time out by your mom! You weren't abandoned when you were little and left to die and put in a pet shop only to be adopted 10 years later and then put through another 7 years of hell! So don't talk like you know anything! Because you know nothing. You have no clue what pain and torture is!" Sasha was now on the verge of tears, at 19 years old she was abandoned at 2 years old, adopted after 10 years just to be put with THAT man and to go through so much horror she couldn't sleep, almost ate nothing and she had the flashbacks, going through one now. Sasha started shaking and clutching her hair, hearing that guy again, when he had first bought her, making her growl and whimper before just going into a daze, arms falling to her sides as she calmed down. "Whatever, my point is, don't talk all high and mighty and prestigious, like some dainty princess cause you don't know how this world really is. Oh also and this is a fact," Sasha turned around, no glare but a bored look on her face. "I am part animal thank you very much so saying not to act like the animal I am is pretty stupid and dumb." Sasha then turned back to the front of the car, going completely silent, staring out into space, jerking slightly once from the after effect of the flashback.

Bill looked over at Sasha and began to pet her as he spoke to her saying “I’m sorry Sasha I wasn’t trying to act all high and mighty I just don’t think it is fair for you to assume that I am going to be like the people in your past. It also makes me feel like you are just going to make the time you are with me hell till my apartment manager ends up kicking me out of the apartment and we both become homeless. As for my animal comment I stand by it seeing how I want to treat you like an equal instead of my pet but if you want to call yourself an animal then I cannot treat you as an equal just as a pet and before you make a comment yes I will still treat you right as a pet.” He kept petting her hoping that it will calm her down a bit. He even stopped a couple of times to scratch behind her hoping that all he was doing was helping her. “All that I am asking is that you just try to enjoy yourself and not undermine me trying to love you and show that not all men are the same and that I can be trusted.” He briefly looks over at her giving her a smile while he is still petting her. He hoped that everything he had said was getting through to her and breaking down the guard that she had put up even if it was just being broke a little bit. He didn’t know what the men in her past had put her through but it had to be bad because she went through an episode in front of him,

Sasha was surprised at James and all that he said. What was he? He didn't seem human in her mind. He seemed ancient. He was a guy though. He couldn't be trusted, he just couldn't. That didn't mean she didn't have to be as mean as she was though, did it? After all she could always kick him and do horrible things later if he did anything to her. Sasha's head dropped onto the dashboard for a second with all that he said, quiet for the moment, trying hard not to react to the insistent scratching that was helping his cause but soon her head went back up and she took his hand and put it on the driving wheel. "Please don't do that, I don't trust you and that is something only someone I trust can do, try to earn that right." Sasha now just looked out the window, not looking mad or anything, more calm and sophisticated actually at this moment. On the inside Sasha was shaking, still recovering from that episode but also from him and his insistence on breaking her steel shell, which had been done in and even a tiny hole, where some of his kindness seeped in. Sasha though was too far done in by what the past had done to her that it was going to take a whole bunch more for her to trust him and let him fully in. Right now there where only acquaintances so she wasn't mad but that didn't mean much had changed in her feelings towards him. Just that she wasn't going to waste her time and energy to make him try to get rid of her. At least the apartment would be bigger than her cage. First sign of meanness or anything of the sort and she was out of there though.

Bill could tell that his petting and scratching was calming her down. He could also see that all he was doing was in fact helping his cause out a little bit. He was a little shocked when she grabbed his hand and calmly told him not to scratch her. He looked over at her and asked her “can I at least pet you and maybe rub your stomach seeing how you are still part cat? I mean in every interaction I ever had with a cat they didn’t mind petting or stomach rubs.” He didn’t know if she was going to let him pet her or not but he felt it was still better to ask and get told no than to do it anyway thus making her mad at him. He looks over at her seeing her beauty shinning. “You look beautiful not that you are not being mean to me.” He said tempted to pet her but refrained from doing so seeing how he hadn’t been told that he could pet her yet or not. He started to wonder what she at and wondered if he should stop at a market or deli to get her something to eat. He also began to wonder if she was hungry now seeing how the shelter he got her from didn’t tell him that they had fed Sasha. He didn’t know if he had the food if she wanted or if she would go with him to a store to get these items. If she didn’t go with him Bill didn’t feel comfortable leaving her home alone in case she began to wonder the halls of the apartment complex and someone ended up trying to shoo her away and she attacks them. He needed more time with her so that he can get her to trust people again and not constantly be in attack mode all the time. He finally asked her “What do you like to eat and are you hungry right now?”

Sasha thought for a bit about how to answer. It was true that she liked it but she had only just met him and really didn't trust him. At all. She was okay with not being totally angry with him, that didn't mean she trusted him. There was a looonnnng way to go to get her trust and it wasn't going to be easy. She listened to him talk and after he asked the questions about eating and what kind of food she liked she decided to finally answer. "Petting is okay on the head but not a ton of it, just a little and no belly rubs. I only just met you maybe thirty minutes ago." Sasha then smiled slightly before going back to being bored. "Actually I am hungry and I like a lot of things. Ramen noodles with different flavorings, macaroni and cheese, steak, sausage, spaghetti and meatballs, even the ones in the can. I also like salad with cherry tomatoes, black olives, red onions, mushrooms and Italian dressing. I also love the cherry tomatoes black olives and mushrooms on there own. I could eat tons of cherry tomatoes or black olives just like they are and mushrooms deep fried are soooo yummy. Even just as they are mushrooms are good, full ones at least and cooked to where they are so juicy is lovely." Sasha then realized just how much she had said and tried not to look flustered. "Anyway I like a lot of stuff, I also like chicken, but only the wings and legs. Turkey I don't like, too dry. I also like pork chops." After that Sasha went silent, almost wanting to say she would like to go out to eat, not having done that in forever. Even the only time she had was with that guy and brought horrible memories, but she had liked the food. "I also like a variety of breakfast and lunch foods, hamburgers and hot dogs are really good, just not with ketchup and mustard, I can stand them for some reason, though I love chicken sandwiches too and fries. Yes I know, fast food but I still love it. I also like shakes and ice cream too." Sasha then realized again how much she had talked and silently cursed. Why was she so talkative all of a sudden? Of course she always got this way with food. "One more things is I love shrimp and crab too." Sasha then clamped her mouth shut, close to blushing but not fully there yet.

Bill was pleased that she was opening up to him more now that he had gotten her to let her guard down. He gives her a pat on the head when she finishes talking and said to her “I don’t mind if you talk it would make this car ride a lot more enjoyable if we actual had a civilized conversation instead of bickering back and forth. Plus if we are going to at least make this work we need to get to know one another so that this will be a pleasant experience for all that is involved and not just fail because we never communicated. I know that there is something’s that you are not ready to tell me and I will respect that but we do need to talk and try to make this work the best we can.” He drove for a short while the asked Sasha “Seeing how you told me what you like but didn’t tell me what you wanted to eat at the moment seeing how you said you are hungry where do you want to go to get something to eat? I can be at any restaurant you want or we can get take out and go home or I could fix us something at home it is your choice and it doesn’t matter where.” He hoped that letting her pick where she could eat at showed her that he wasn’t going to be mean to her and hopefully got him some points on her nice list. Bill could tell that she was cracking and beginning to see that he wasn’t such a bad person as she initially thought all men were. He could also tell that with every scratch or pet he had done until now she had held herself back from showing how happy it truly made her feel.

Sasha listened to Bill, going silent, trying not to blush. Why was he getting at her? He was faking it, only faking it. He would turn against her soon enough. She couldn't let her guard down too much. She just couldn't! On the other hand as he talked she got more calm and almost broke down and purred but she didn't, pushing it back. The only reason she let him pet her a little on the head was because he was so cute. Wait did she just think that? Ugh what was happening to her? They only just met too. No she had to stay strong, she couldn't get hurt again. She just couldn't. Tears almost welled in Sasha's eyes as she thought this but she blinked them away before they got out. She then heard Bill ask where she wanted to eat and she thought about it. She was a little surprised that he was letting her pick but still thought he was just keeping up the nice act to get her to believe him. "If any restaurant is okay I would like to go to Ruby Tuesday's. It has a good salad bar and the little garlic biscuits are yummy but it won't be cheap taking me. I have a great love of food and the most delicious ones are the most expensive. If it's too expensive I can just tone it all the way down and we could go to McDonald's. I haven't been to any restaurant in a long time so I don't care if it's one or the other though Ruby Tuesday's is better. Better food even though it is more expensive. It pays to eat good food sometimes."

Bill figured that taking her to Ruby Tuesday’s as a welcome home present so he remains quite so he could surprise her with where they were to go eat at. He just drove for a little bit not saying anything seeing how that there drive to the restaurant was going to be shot one. He pulls into the parking lot and says to her “I figured we could go here to eat as a welcome home present for you can order anything you want to eat.” He reaches over one last pat on the head before he unbuckled himself and got out of the car and opened her door. He hoped that she would at least appreciate that he did this of her not trying to gain her trust just as something special to make her feel special. He could feel that she was warming up to him but was afraid of whatever happened with her last owner to let him see her in a happy state. It was still bothering him that she wouldn’t let out her happiness but he knew that she would eventually but he had to prove himself first before she would even think about letting anything happy out or let him in.

Sasha was suspicious of Bill since he didn't reply to her. What was he thinking? Was he offended at what she said? Was Ruby Tuesday's too pricey so he decided not to answer her? What was going on in this mans head? Ugh he aggravated her. Mostly cause she was afraid of him, he had gotten into her heart a bit and even though she wanted to repair her walls she felt as though she couldn't. He was just too nice, for now at least. Sasha was thinking he was probably about to make her think she was right, before he got to Ruby Tuesday's. What in the world? Was her first thought. Why did he come here? Was he trying to charm his way into her heart? No, this wasn't going to work, she had worked too hard to not get hurt again, she couldn't let him break down her walls and then turn and hurt her. But, he had actually taken her here and..... wait? Did he just say she could get anything? He was joking right? Well he didn't know how much of an appetite she had so, that was one problem. "Um you might want to change what you just said, I will let you since you didn't know, but I can eat a ton. It will cost a lot so if you want to change the, get whatever you want thing I will not get mad." Yeah right, her mind said. She would be sad but she was expensive to buy for, having what some people would call an endless stomach. She could eat a ton. "I do appreciate this, I'm just warning you." Sasha was happy, though she wouldn't show it even as her tail swished some, actually there for once though it had been almost invisible since it hadn't been moving at all, her ears even flicking a little. She then wondered if they had a policy against furries. "Um also, will they even let a furry like me in? I was in a different part of this country before and I don't know if they will let me in, since I'm half cat." Sasha then actually blushed a tiny bit, before going back to her bored expression, inwardly criticizing herself for showing that much emotion. Sasha by that time had gotten out of the car, but was actually ready to get back in, thinking they probably wouldn't let a furry in.

Bill looked over at Sasha and he said to her “I think this is the one that let furries into the restaurant.” and he was told he was right when a furry had left the restaurant. “See they will let you in and if they didn’t we could have just ordered out and eat it at home.” Bill said giving her a smile. “How about this you can have three things but those things include an appetizer, entrée, and desert?” He asks knowing that she is right but trying to reach a compromise with her so she wouldn’t be sad or mad at him for not letting get all the food she wanted. They walk into the restaurant and the waiter acts like it is a normal day even though Sasha is with him so the waitress seats them at the first open seating option that became available it was a booth he hoped that Sasha was ok with sitting in a boot seeing how the place looked packed and they just happened to come in when they got it cleaned for use. Bill didn’t want to wait for a table to open up because it would have been hard to tell exactly when they would get a seat. He orders his drink and waits for her to der her drink. When the waitress leaves with their drink order he looked over at her and asked “did you think that I had gotten mad at you or something when I didn’t say anything to you before we got to the parking lot?” He thinks to himself I know you are enjoying yourself in fact the slight tail wag was a giveaway but you still insist on looking like you could care either way so what happened in your past to make you this way?... What did your last owner do to you? He wanted to say something about her dagger but decided against it seeing how they hadn’t really been together long and she still didn’t trust anyone yet so he doubted he could get her to leave it somewhere while they were out so that he wouldn’t get arrested or something like that because she had a concealed weapon and Sasha was technically considered his pet even though she could stand and talk plus make decisions on her own like a human. He just sat there trying to figure something to talk about that wouldn’t cause her to go into one of her fits.

Sasha was surprised when Bill answered saying he thought it was one that let them in and she noticed he was right when another furry left. She then heard Bill and again as they walked up she countered it. "I don't think salad bar is an entree but what if I got the mozzarella sticks, salad bar and cheesecake? They have two kinds actually, the New York one which adds strawberries on top and the white chocolate cherry one, which is quite different with chocolate in the cake part and topped with white chocolate cherry mousse and a chocolate crumble crust. I actually like plain the best but strawberries sometimes can be okay." Sasha then noticed she was talking a lot again and muttered under her breath about being a foodie, even if she wasn't some critic or wrote about food. She loved talking about food though.

Sasha had to force herself to keep her head up though as they went in. She wasn't the shy little girl she used to be, though a part of it was still there. The first day with the last guy he had taken her to a bar/restaurant and there were guys there that were horrible and made her hang her head and feel very shy. Now inside she felt much the same though it was a completely different situation. That went away though as they were sat in a booth and Sasha felt more comfortable, her tail swishing between her legs ever so slightly. Thankfully her tail was flexible enough to wrap around part of her waist and fall between her legs, since sitting on it kind of hurt. Sasha then listened as Bill ordered her drink before ordering hers. "A Dr. Pepper please. Thank you." Sasha immediately looked away from the waitress, a bored look on her face though she was actually a little happy though she would have never admitted it right then. Sasha was surprised though when Bill asked her a question, though something in his eyes said he wanted to say a whole lot more and Sasha went a little defensive, her stubborn nature coming through. "Not really, I'm used to silence from people. It's normal that a guy wouldn't want to talk to me, since I really do think you are all the same." Sasha then bit her lip before saying something else quietly, though loud enough for him to hear. "Though I do appreciate your kindness so far, I just don't think it will last is all." Sasha eyes wavered as she looked away while saying this, so stubborn but also having a soft side to her.

Sasha then sat quietly, looking at Bill. He was so strange to her, so kind even as a man. Don't get Sasha wrong though, she wasn't stupid by any means, she was very smart and quick usually to figure things out. With men she had always thought they were all the same, even if they were nice to you at first they quickly turned but so far even with all her heightened senses he showed no signs of doing this. There really wasn't much anger, or smugness in him. Most men had that, why was he so different? Did he really not want to hurt her? That couldn't be it though could it? Ugh! Why was she second guessing herself?! This man was aggravating, for all the wrong reasons, she knew she shouldn't be aggravated but he was making her second guess everything about men that she thought she knew.

Bill looked over at Sasha when she said that she didn’t think that his kindness will last and said “you will see that no matter what you do or say I won’t change I’ll still be kind to you but I will also be firm and discipline you as well I can’t just let you get away with doing whatever you like because the world has rule. Let’s take the dagger you keep with you right now you can’t be taking that with you every place you go because if you get caught I will get fined then eventually put in jail. I understand that you probably keep it with you in case anything happened or to scare someone away before they could hurt you. Plus if I get fined a lot of money then we won’t be able to go out to eat like this every so often and if I end up going to jail I would have to see if the pet shop will take care of you while I am in.” He seen the waitress coming over so he said to her “I don’t know this but I think it would be cheaper if you order an entrée that you can get the salad bar with it. You could always order something you like and eat it later on today or tomorrow.” Bill sees that their waitress got to another one of her tables. He begins to think of some questions to ask Sasha that won’t end up setting her off like she did in the car. He said to her “I’m sorry about the booth I’m sure that the seat can’t feel great on your tail but I don’t think that they had a table open for us to use and I don’t think we would have gotten one soon anyway.” trying to keep up the conversation. “Why don’t you tell me about yourself not the bad things just what do you want to do, your interests stuff like that?” He truly wanted to get to now Sasha seeing how they would be living together. He hoped that she would at least give him something and not just sit there. He wanted to ask her about her past but she already told him part of it and he knew if she began to think about the other part she would begin to have some sort of attack so he just left it alone for now.

Sasha listens to all that Bill says, silent until he finishes, eating one of the garlic cheese biscuits they give out to each table for free. Once he was done she sighed and took out a piece of paper opening up and showing it to him. "First of all this is my permit for my dagger. So no fine and you aren't taking my dagger thank you very much." Sasha then folded the piece of paper back up and put it in her pocket. "Second what if I didn't get the cheesecake and just got the mozzarella sticks and salad bar? I like plain cheesecake the best anyway and they don't have that here. I don't like the appetizers you can get with the salad bar anyway and mozzarella sticks are one of my favorite things. If you still don't like that I will just get the salad bar, though that thought is just upsetting." Sasha sighed then and tried to think of what her interests were while eating another biscuit and swallowed before speaking. "About interests, I guess food, maybe cooking though I have never learned how to cook anything, writing. That's basically it though I love music and watching anime." Sasha then wondered why she was even telling him this as she ate another biscuit. "Also my tail is flexible enough that I don't have to sit on it and I like booths actually."

Bill was glad that Sasha had a permit to carry her dagger around with her. “Easy Sasha I didn’t know you had a permit to be able to carry around the dagger I just didn’t want to get into trouble and have to end up sending you back to the shelter if I got put away.” He said trying to get the point across that he didn’t know about the permit. He then said to her “If you want to get the cheese cake get it I’ll order something that has the salad bar with it so you can still have a salad… but it is up to you I don’t care what you get as long as you remain within the three limit agreement.” He began to wonder about what she liked to write about so he asked her “so Sasha what all do you like to write about? Is there anything in particular you like to write about?” He was glad that she was opening up to him more now but he still got the feeling that she wasn’t going to trust him yet even though she was subliminally trusting him more. He was glad that she like booths because he didn’t want someone to step on her tail when they ate because he figured that she would end up scaring someone no matter if they meant to do it or not
