Talk about a long day

I got up at 5:30 AM this morning and headed into work so that I could be there a hour earlier then the original time. 8:00AM.

Today was our Hallmark, inventory day...woohooo.
Had to count every single card, nic-nack,beanie baby, stuff animal and figure in the whole into store. Oh and balloons had to count every single balloon...........picture frames,wall hangings, shelf sitters,writing pens,shirt pens,stationary, photo albums,journals,keepsake books,diarys,erasers,stamps for letters, ink stamps,stickers,pakage envelopes,puzzles,books,gift bags,gift wrap,tissue paper...loose and packaged,boxes,gift boxes,invitations,banners,napkins,plates...paper,plastic,and stoneware,vases,fake flowers...oh my fucking god the list goes on and on!


I am so damn tired it's not even funny

Nope Thats why I left early, I was supose to work till 5 PM, but left about 1:30 PM

Our store will be doing inventory in about two weeks.
We do it overnight.
11 at night until 7 in the morning.
Guess who volunteered.
I can't wait......

When I worked for the SoftWare company we did ours at night too, from 9PM to 4AM.....I was one who worked it.

We had to close down Hallmark this morning in order to do it there though........

I know all about long days, and this was one that made me come home and pop the cork off my wine, kick my shoes off, and come here on the advice of a friend. I intend to do nothing that requires me to extensively use my brain cells for the next 24 hours. Life is good right now, and getting better with each sip.
