Taking Forever!!

Hey guys!! My story is taking forever to get posted! I guess I was just hoping it would be up fast. . anyone in here have it take forever like mine is? It's been like 6 or 7 days I think! Oh well. . lol get back to me!
 
yeah mine has taken over a week now. Laurel and Manu go over all the stories, so they could have just been inundated with stories and poems. I bet they also had summer break. Patience is tough but it is our lot in life.;):kiss:
 
I currently have 4 stories and 1 revision pending and its been about 6 or 7 days now also. They use to have the view count going and the date you submitted the story listed. I guess they didn't want anyone to have ammonition to throw at them.

Yep, its taking a while. The further you are behind, the harder it is to catch up.

My most recent one to post took 10 days. Patience is a virtue, especially for non-profit sites ;)
 
I'm patiently waiting as well.

It gets frustrating, but think about how exciting it will be when it's finally up!

Write an entry for one of the contests. I did a Rainy Day Challenge thing once, and the motherfucker posted in thirty hours, man. What a rush. In one day and up the next. :D

Now now now, that's not really ethical, Carson....and that's something we should all work harder to not do anymore.
 
I talked to Laurel the other day and she told me that they've just been swamped with submissions and that it's taking longer because of that. All I can say is that we're all in the same boat so just try to be as patient as you can!
 
Ya know, I think this is why I haven't written a story since April . . . I don't have the patience for it. I get way too anxious when it's just sitting there, waiting for approval. Ugh! Drives me nuts. I can't imagine submitting, right now, with the wait times being as long as they are.

Oh please. Would you also like to point out how unethical it is that a LOT of people that frequent Literotica have more than one username and account? I suspect that to be a hell of a lot more unethical than voting for yourself. Really, why shouldn't you vote for yourself? You wrote it, you slaved on it, you presented part of your soul to a rather indifferent audience, so take a little pride in your work.

Everything else is just really fucking pretentious.
