I call myself a mentor first, and editor second. I don't have much time and I believe in a quick turnaround so I don't overextend myself. I have responded to threads where writers are anxious for help. I refuse to take my time to PM or email them and track them down and beg for their stories. If they want my help they should know to PM me (not cocky, just practical).

So I would like to say to those who come to this forum that if you truly want help and guidance, actively seek it. Sample my stories and if that is the direction to wish to go, I will assist you to seek it in any way that I can. Or actively seek out others. From my experience, this is a kind and loving community of souls thst I have learned to love and respect (even when it hurts).

To be honest, I have extended my services to several hopeful writers but never received any communication after. I am thoughtful and available and will not take on more than a couple writers to ensure my response is timely and effective.

To be honest, I hope nobody responds to this. I absolutely love to write undisturbed and post stories. But I am a teacher and mentor, and if anyone asks I will give my all to assist you in expressing your talent.

My heartfelt thanks, appreciaton, respect, etc. to the likes of Lady Cibelle and any others that devote so much of their time to giving others a chance to express their heartfelt ideas through writing.

AS: I know you didn't wish for a response but I cannot let pass what you said about me, and the multitute of editors who work really hard to make stories better, without saying thanks for being nice.

I know that you know how good it feels to be appreciated by the ones we work for but do you agree that it feels even nicer when such appreciation comes from the ones you work alongside with, your peers.

I don't know for you, but for me, it's like getting a pat on the shoulder and knowing that my work is recognized and appreciated for what it is.
