I am assuming this is hopefully not serious?:confused: And no, we live it and are not all talk, but nor does that mean we see a need to prove ourselves to anyone, especially a scenario such as suggested here. Does make me wonder about why you feel the need to prove yourself though. For us, it matter little what anyone else decides is appropriate as we are not big on needing the approval and gold stars from others as long as we are living in a way which is to our liking and authentic to us.

Now a slave show may be fun, like a dog show sort of, but 2 years, that is a ridiculous commitment.

I think you would have better luck choosing a specific task, and giving it a week.

A cash reward would make things way more interesting.

We shall then task these subs with three simple tasks, which shall be agreed upon by all parties prior to the start of the contest. These tasks could be anything like, serving drinks, kneeling, or perhaps greeting their Mistress/Master, for example. The members of the audience would be the judges. By a show of hands, upon completion of the required tasks, the audience will be asked to vote upon which sub has the best smile, posture, and demeanor.

I'm glad I'm not the only one confused by this apparent 180. I figured I was just new here and easily befuddled (not that it usually has anything to do with being new ;) ).

Since the only thing we're looking for at the moment is a sometime play partner to join us and Master already has me reasonably well in hand, I suspect he'll be sitting this one out, too. Allegedly I was enough trouble, all by myself. I know, I know, that just seems so hard to believe, but that's what he says! :D

Catalina, I think you have a point as well. I'm wondering exactly what this is supposed to prove, and to whom for what reason.
