Taboo Sex

Hey guys,

Just wondered if there were any people out there who would like to chat about the more taboo aspects of sex. Perhaps those area's which we are not allowed to discuss in public due to the narrow vision of todays laws and societies cramped style. I don't believe I am doing anything wrong by putting out this ad as I have mentioned nothing illegal and I don't think that the government has any thought Police around quite yet

Taboo or Fantasy?

Is there a difference? I guess it's only taboo if you actually participate in it .. underage, animals, etc.. Otherwise it's all just fantasizing to me!

I guess its all down to how you percieve the term. I understand what you mean but the subjects are still the same whether they are fantasy or not.

For example in Lits case we can do SRP's about incest which is obviously taboo and illegal, Rape which is illegal and degrading and yet we cannot write SRP's about beastiality which is also taboo and illegal I've never been able to understand the difference between them myself in that sense, but there you go. We all know that people do sex with animals and that it excites some people to read and write about it and yet we are prevented from doing so. However it is ok to talk about having sex with your Mother/Father/Son or Daughter.

I am trying to find those people who wish to talk about the subjects that society says we should not talk about, that we should shun because to an out of date way of thinking its bad, dirty, and illegal.

Thanks for posting here though Tazia I do agree with what you said, it is only Taboo if you think it is, perhaps I should of made the title of this thread a little clearer

Taboo

To me, taboo is not synonymous with illegal.

Taboo is, to me at any rate, personal. What is taboo for me might be "rightly normal" for someone else. My boundaries as to what is acceptable and what is taboo are not created by society, or by laws. My boundaries are guided by personal truth.

I will refrain from passing judgement on what appears to be your turn on based on your post, but I will say that in some cases, illegal things are illegal for a very good reason.

The legalities of sex are based upon the concept of informed consent. Incest is not illegal as long as all parties involved are of an age where consent can be given. Rape is not legal because the victim has not given consent. If you were to have sex with a person who is unable to communicate in anyway, it would be considered rape because consent was not given. "Dirtiness" aside animals are considered unable of giving INFORMED consent. I suppose they can agree based on instinct, but instinct alone does not make something cognizant of repurcussions of their actions.

My thoughts, anyway.

As I stated above in agreement with Tazia, it is all up to a persons own point of view. But I take your comments onboard, thank you for posting to this thread.

However I hope this will not become to bogged down in politics and small print. This was simply a thread to see if there were any people out there interested in chatting about slightly different sexual subjects than the norm here on Lit, or indeed real life experiences of things we CAN talk about like incest and consentual rape .... which I admit sounds like a contradiction in terms but which I'm told does actually happen

I just want to thank all those people who have PM'ed me their support on this thread. Its nice to know I'm not the only one who would like to discuss certain subjects considered unacceptable by most people. Everything said is in total confidence of course otherwise this thread will die a death. I am not here to judege or throw stones, simply to listen and chat to anyone who wants to talk to me about their experiences.

There are rules for the story section concerning that, I checked a while back as I wanted to write an SRP about bestiality but wasn't sure if it was allowed. You right in that it doesn't say we can't, but when was the last time you saw an SRP containing animal sex? People get around it by making the characters werewolves and such like. I even tried to email the moderators but got no reply after several attempts.

I believe it hasn't happened because no one wants to do it enough. There was a thread in SRP about it once. It had a hot pic in it too but that pic has probably been taken off. In truth, it was posted in the wrong area and wasn't really an SRP though. I would be game for it and yes, spelling does matter. One should at least make an effort even though errors always exist in text. I really dislike it when people don't at least try.

Anyway, I'd say it's more of a case of someones ethical and moral views being pushed onto others rather than what should be legal or not. It's not like it harms anyone or anything. 'Sides, sometimes it's better that people get their rocks off in fiction rather than in reality.

A different take

As one trained in evolutionary biology, I can't help but take a view that taboos are more about directing Productive Reproductive Behaviors. That people feel the need to write laws to enforce social morays is another story. That Literotica is trying to live within the limits of social morays makes sense to me.
