tablets

I have an ipad, a Sam Tab, and the Surface Pro 3.

Which one are you aiming for?

I-Pad Air 2.

Doesn't lag while dealing with heavy workload. Comes with a camera that's one of the best in tablet segments.

I really like my Samsung, although I'm a generation behind now. Accepts USB and micro SD for additional storage.

Not ipad. I live in a windows world and need this device to get along with the others.

Medium size, not big not small. I do not mind paying up for it if the money is getting me something back.

Movies and surfing. It would be nice to share my verison 4g.

FYP yw

I love my Kindle Fire because Amazon makes it easy to get content.

Combine that with an Audible audio book account and Amazon Prime, I couldn't be much happier.

Go get a surface.

There are many models now, if you are not going to do heavy lifting on it, go with the Surface without the pro.

I can remote into those just as well as I can with a regular machine.

My old iPad 2 is showing it's age but I don't think I'll buy a replacement tablet. Maybe try a factory wipe and reinstall iOS. It's infuriating to type out amessage on lit and sit sipping my coffee while it catches up with my far from stellar typing speed.

Is the difference just a less powerful tablet?

I'm watching this thread because there are times, especially when traveling, that I'd like something smaller than my laptop but larger than my iPhone for watching movies, playing games, etc. I'm a lifelong PC guy who bought an iMac 3-4 years ago because I got tired of antivirus and driver update problems that PCs tend to have. My iPhone plays nicely with my iMac. I do have a Windows laptop now, because I am a power user of Excel and things just don't work the same in the Mac version.

I'm not sure I'd use a tablet for anything beyond playing... which is likely why I haven't bought one yet.

Fizzies! :cathappy:

I have a Kindle Fire. I like it, but I'm not too impressed with the battery life when I'm using it for other than simple things. On the bright side, it does charge with a simple Android phone charger.

My old Android used to give that problem, until I rooted it and assigned some more RAM for the keyboard. It worked smoothe after that.

If you want to stay connected with Windows, Android is obviously the best bet.

Samsung is a recognisable brand that makes good quality android tablets. Camera sucks. It lags during some processes as compared to I-Pad but it'll be okay for what you want to do. 4G is available on select variants, I think.

Smaller than an iMac, larger than an iPhone....If you were on a game show I'd be screaming "It's an iPad!!!!" at the tv right now. ;-)

Exactly. I have the beefy laptop. Memory would be nice for storing porn.

Movies. Not porn, movies.

Yea, the difference is power.

I buy the pro's because these are being used as laptop replacements.

If they had a laptop already, I would not need the pros.

And as a heads up, I support all macs too and yosemite has been a pain in the ass.

It wont really make a difference. Apple wants you to buy new hardware so they deliberately make the older models slower.

Can we just keep the lesbian porn computer problems between us?

Geez.

Never!!
