I saw one when I went to the toy store a couple of weeks ago. It looks like the pics you see on the web site - a sort of saddle-like contraption with a dildo on top. The cost in the store was $1,300.00 - which is far beyond my budget. (Personally I'd rather put the money towards a nice vacation) I didn't get to see it in action, but from the people I've talked to, it is quite loud and the vibration is such that you really can't use it without others in the house knowing what you are doing.

My lover looked at the basic construction of the Sybian, and stated that some one who was mechanically inclined could make something very similar at a fraction of the cost.

I know of a couple of women on the GB who have one, so if you post your question there, they will probably respond with first hand knowledge.

I knew they were expensive, and can be built, I was just looking for experienced riders bc its only something I have heard about or seen on tv....The orgasms look genuine, for the most part.

And for a homemade Sybian...my idea? Take something that vibrates really well, attach a dildo to it, and push the dildo through a hole you could cut very carefully in the center of a saddle. A hole just big enough to hold the base of the dildo snugly. Only question is, what would vibrate in just the right way and be small enough to fit under the saddle, yet powerful enough to...ummm...last?

I've heard similar things about vibrators...that's why i don't have one. I don't know if it would destroy your ability to orgasm, but you never know. I'm with Etoile on this one...the "riding" aspect does not give it any more appeal to me than your standard toys.

Could just go horseback riding... I had a hand held bullet type thing but it was double ball seperated by cord device..., and i placed that in yummy places and when horseback riding for 2 hours... my knees were weak, i couldn't walk, and I needed a man desperately.

Electric hand egg beater thingies, a blender engine bottom though that would turn mightly quick. ::thinks:: mini motors from those skooter thingies, power tool of some kind? Who knows. I'm not going to purchase, just wondering if they were as godly as depicted.
