It's Like Northern VA, that goes from Arlington/Farifax down to Fredricksburg all the way out to Winchester.

What else do you call Blacksburg/Roanoke area? "sort of southwest, but not quite, VA"? LOL

I'm on the east coast side but frequently travel all the way through VA to TN and KY. Like most ppl, I would group Roanoke in with Tazwell, etc. as SW VA. Just my .02 worth.

The most Southwest part of the State IMO would be Lee County (Rose Hill & Ewing) down here next to Tennessee and Kentucky.

I am about 5 minutes from VA and about 5 minutes from TN.
