have any of you ever changed your sex? how did you feel about it? did it hurt for awhile? did you regret it?
i think its very interesting.

Are you talking about transgender people, apexpark? That's a pretty complicated issue. I don't think we have any out trans people here.

the last guy i made an attempt at seriously dating was last september/october~pretty kinky guy~i ended up dressing up in drag for him. not something i've ever done. a little background history on me is one of my "struggling artist/inbetween jobs" wasdoing transgendered and drag queen makeovers in a transvestite boutique here in manhattan~very fun job and when he found out about it he wanted me to dress up for him to see what i can do. i never really considered myself particularly effeminate~but let me tll you i look ***amazing*** in drag. there was really no difference to the sex. it was neither better nor worse...a little awkward i guess. we ended up breaking up right before halloween but i still went out dressed anyway and i ended up scoring a muscle bound police officer (he sai he was straight)...

nope not me, although it might be interesting to have a vagina for a day just to see what it's like, I don't think I'd want to keep it.

I know people who have changed genders, which is a whoooooole long process far too difficult to describe on one thread. There are tons of websites about it, tons of books.

I enjoyed a certain read about an FTM transsexual in Britain called "A Self Made Man" it was basically this guy's autobio. As for MTF subjects, I enjoy the hell out of Kate Bornstein.

Dressing, however, if that's what you mean....done it, been it, had my ass chased by gay boys, love it. Stopped dressing when I gained a whole buncha weight, somehow girl fat goes to all the wrong spots, and I couldn't really feel butch and sexy with it on. Now that I'm dropping pounds, maybe I will dabble again.

last night i was surfing the satallite and i found "the christine jorgison" story. it was the story of the first person to get a sex changed. it was in the 1950s. it was so interesting and i found out all the details and stuff. they changed his penis into a vagina (obviously) than they shot estrogen into him (now a her) a few times every week and he (um...she) grew boobs and wider hips and all that other fun stuff.

Hrm too bad I missed that! It would have been interesting.

I am in HELL at home right now ;) While they finish the last bits on our new house we are staying with my grandparents.

We are watching the Trinity Broadcasting Network (christian TV) and going to bed every night at 10:30

It's accepted practice to refer to someone by their current gender. You can call Christine Jorgensen a she, that's what she is. Current sex-change practices, though, are much more involved. There's more than one way to go between a penis and a vagina (or the reverse, depending on what you start out with), but even before that there's an extensive psychological process required. We've come a long way since the 1950s.
