Welcome to the thread for switches! Yes, the title's dorky, but I'm doing the best I can do here!

Since I decided I shouldn't keep cluttering up the sub haven thread with my posts because I'm...well...not a sub, I thought I'd make a new talk thread just for switches. If you are a switch, if you're in a relationship with a switch, or if you're a sub or a Dom/me who's ever thought about swapping sides of the whip for a little while (that'd be switch-curious, I suppose), come on in.

I'll throw out this topic of discussion, but y'all can run with this thread and do as you please with it. I've always been a more submissive leaning switch, but I've noticed lately that I'm acquiring more and more dominant tendencies. I'm starting to seriously explore this side of me, and what I'm finding is, the more I want to be dominant, the more I want to be submissive, too. I don't know if that makes any sense or not. Anybody else feel this way?

When I got this promotion, and I had to take even more charge at work, I noticed the sub cravings increased dramaticly. Then when I started toping in our play dates, I noticed the cravings with in the sceen were even more intence.

That may have something to do with it. I don't know. I feel like I give a lot more of myself when I bottom than when I Top most of the time. I would love for Topping to become as intense of an experience as bottoming for me, but that probably requires something more than I've gotten from the bottoms I've had. I love B. to death, and I love to Top him, but he's really a shitty sub.

I think there's a little switch in everyone. It just takes more for it to come out in some people than in others. Even Geoff says he bottoms to learn about new sensations and for charity. Doesn't mean he enjoys it, but there are certain situations in which he thinks it's prudent. That's my take on things.

I think whatever makes you feel even-keeled and in your "zone" whatever it is, makes you better at what you want to do. So it stands to reason that Bunny the happy bottom is a more effective and more responsive Bunny the happy top.

I think it's a position preference. Or maybe you're a T/b switch but not a power switch.
