Visited one, a few times, when I lived in FL. I wasn't impressed. Couldn't even get a "hello" out of anybody. I found more cheerfulness & friendliness at a funeral!!!

Were you alone, or with a partner? My general impression is most would much prefer to associate with single females and couples rather than single males. In my opinion that certainly isn't a reason to be unfriendly, but I'm guessing many have had experiences with 'friendly' being misinterpreted for 'interested in playing,' so perhaps that's why you didn't get a warm reception.

We have been to a few swinger clubs. Kinda like a bar, you meet and chat and then decide what to do later on if you want to. They are fun.

We are going to a Mardi Gras party at a local swing club.

the wife and i have been to more than a few and we've always had fun. We take it for what it is worth though. Sex. We know who we came in with and know who we are going home with.

We've never used it to fix our relationship. In fact we stopped swinging for quite some time to fine tune us again.

Swing parties can be fun. It all depends on the group attending and if you like the body shapes and sizes. Parties vary. We have been to parties where we have just been watchers and at others been very busy.

If I were you and I am not you..I would attend with the attitude that you may just want to watch...we did and the next thing we knew we were having sex in front of 20 couples.......lol....good luck.

Even if you are not into swapping, the view can be quite erotic ...depending on the scene ...

As it happens, we went as a gangster and his flapper gal, with masks as well of course. We won first prize for costume, (a bottle of champagne) and second prize for the number of beads (a bottle of Amarula).

I figured I had already won as I got to make out with half a dozen lovely ladies, dance a bunch and enjoy watching my husband get "sandwiched" between two very hot women.

This was our third visit to a club, and by far the most fun and interactive.
