Sweethearts and Chocolates

now that the Winter Contest is closed to entries, time to dredge up ideas on Valentine themes.

Not my strong suit. If you want this thread bumped daily, others will need tro jump in. I get stuck in a rut of chocolate and roses....

all of which led to my entry Hard To Write last year, about my writer's block stuck on the themes. The result was a whole series of stories, including the Christmas one I just completed.

So let's all dive into the chocolate pool!

Wow you never waste any time prepping for the next big contest do ya? Valentines day isn't really my strong point either, specially not when you start trying to figure out ways to be original which is what I strive for. I always aim to even if i'm not the best (which I'm not) I want you to finish my story and say well that's never been tried before. With that said I'm automatically going to try and stray away from mushy love stories, star crossed lovers and lonely geeks on Valentines day.

I think an incest story about a Father and daughter story about a girl who was dumped on Valentines day might be good.

Horror about a monster that only comes out on Valentines day and eats hearts?

all three ideas are good. The incest one is more classic than new, but classics are such cause they are eternally good.

I'd prefer a version wof the monster one where the monster falls in love and lives happily ever after. Maybe with the gal who works at a slaughterhouse and can keep him supplied with pigs hearts?
