Okay, I'm only 40-years-old, I've only licked a couple of pussies, and I've only tasted sperm a couple of times, but I think that's a pretty fair sampling of what might be available. Why is it that in any erotic literature I have read, the flavors of these things are described as "sweet"? Don't get me wrong. In the heat of the act, you could put almost anything in my mouth and I wouldn't object, but "sweet" is not a word that I would use to describe any human secretion.

I am tempted to attribute this to laziness on the part of the author(s). However, I have found the "sweet" description used even in the work of authors that I genuinely enjoy -- authors who have either a large vocabulary or a good thesaurus or both.

So what's with the word "sweet"?? Can somebody fill me in? Thanks.

Maybe what you've tasted hasn't been sweet. At least, not to you.
When I describe a lover's cum as being sweet or delicious, I don't mean sugary sweet or tasty. I use the word to describe how it makes me feel, how sweet the experience is. In the heat of passion, everything about you lover is SWEET! Actually, in the heat of passion, my partner does taste good to me.
I've heard that if you eat pineapple, you'll taste better. I don't know if it's true or not. :)
And yes, there are lots of other descriptive words that can be used, but sometimes sweet just seems appropriate.

"A rose, by any other name, would smell just as sweet."

I've always thought it was clear that "sweet" was a metaphor--as in "her sweet honeypot" or "There wasn't anything so sweet as the cum spurting against the roof of my mouth." Did you see writing where someone actually said something like "It was sweet--like caramel, with a slight aftertaste of lemon?" Or are you just being a smartass?

Mmmm, I see where people come from with the discription sweet. I tend to write with the words "taste of zest" or "sweet tang" as a discription.

I like lime in my Gin, but I don't think of it as being bitter. It gives a tasty zest to the drink.

All comes down to style I suppose???????
