Anyone agree with the above? Are you a man who might share those traits with me? Then by all means, please read on!
I'm somewhat of an idealist. I want to believe that one day the plain looking and exceptionally imaginative Heroine of my story, you know, the chubby geek girl next-door with that amazing smile and those ugly wire framed glasses, will meet her perfect match. A man who is kind and patient, with a sharp witt and a big heart. Maybe he will think her cute, maybe only be intrigued by her intellect, but there will be at least something, something about her that makes him curious to find out more. And as time passes, as they get to know each other better, he may yet gain glimpses of hidden passions and the deeply sensual woman under the surface, with a beautiful mind, a charming personality, a restless and fragile heart.
They will make each other feel like having finally arrived and having found their safe haven on life's stormy seas. She will be warmth and shelter to him, the source of copassionate support and unconditional love with a glowing desire for his presence and every touch. They will make each other feel safe and wanted, accepted and cared for despite their flaws. And when life gets rough they will still hold onto each other with a love that endures and desire that is awakened every day anew, somedays through tender kisses and caresses, and through flaring passions on others. They will share their joy, chuckle at eachothers jokes, may they be ever so lame and kiss away each others tears. Hold each other through gloomy nights and dance to upbeat music together on light-hearted evenings, curl up under thick, fluffy blankets on cold winter nights.
Add a bunch of offspring to the above and it sounds like a decent happy ending to me. Or will it be just the beginning of another, even more adventurous and exciting story? What do you think?
I'd like to think my Heroine deserves a happy ending to her very own story. And knowing just how stubborn she can be, I don't think there is much chance of compromising for any less.
Ladies and most of all Gentlemen, I am ready for my match to fall madly in love with me!
And while I wait for that miracle to happen, I'd like to get to know you better. Yes, I do mean you, the person with such amazing endurance and patience and maybe even a hint of curiosity who has read my rambling post to the end.
I'm looking forward to hear from you.
