Y'know how people say that it's the thought that counts?

Honey just went upstairs to make himself some peanut butter toast. I didn't say a word to him, didn't even know he was making it, and he came down with a piece for me. And he walked into the room and asked that above question... and then said "and in this case, it's true, cus I tried SO hard to make a heart with the honey. It just didn't work though, so I spread the honey around".

What a sweetie.

We were in this small town, and we did not realize that the one store they had in town closed @ 6pm ... and that night I told him that I was craving M&M's... needless to say he woke up @ 5am & went out to look for my M&M's ... he comes back & wakes me up... its still early in the morning & he is holding a bag full of M&M's & he also bought me my bottled water as well...

The one thing I did for my man was surprise him when he was out of town on business, I flew out to see him...

I was talking to a friend on the phone not too long ago and he says to me "ya know, you're all right" it sounded so strange almost to hear that, but I thanked him anyway. He apologized and told me it was supposed ot come out different, and of course I was still a bit flattered anyways. It really was the thought that counted there.

Let's see....I am lucky enough to have a hubby who constantly does sweet things for me...but most recently...this past week, when I have been very sick with a virus....and had to go to work anyway...He came by to see me and stuck around to help me out with a lot of little things that had piled up!! This, after working 12 hours and on the night shift to boot!! Sigh.....I hope I always realize how very lucky I am....and I hope that I do enough little sweet things for him to think so too!!
