Sweet corn and hamburgers

Yup, that's supper tonite. I walked to the store and saw it sitting there. Fresh picked sweet corn. I don't make it too often or I get sick of it, but damn, it looks so good. It's the perfect meal after a long day. Quick and tasty and the kids will eat it.

So, what are you having for supper?

Polska kilbasa and tofu shish kebabs.

3 ounces plain chicken. Cup of broccoli. 1/2 cup carrots. 1/2 a banana... *lol*

I want sweet corn and hamburgers oh... and candy, lots of candy.

And chocolate.

And ice cream.

Hm, does it count if I put lettuce and tomatoes on my hamburger? That's more veggies, after all.

Poor Dill. If it makes you feel better, I'm passing on the candy and ice cream.

I had a baked potato tonight.

Saturday night i had a hamburger and corn fresh from the garden. It's a meal that's almost perfection.

Belle's Hamburger Blaze

1 lb hamburger browned
1 can of tomato/green pepper/chili sauce
3 slices deli deluxe american cheese torn into pieces
1/2 cup of milk mixed in one cup of bisquick mix

Layer these ingredients in a 9 x9 brownie pan. Pour the milk/bisquick mix over. Cook in a 350 degree oven til mixture lightly golden brown. Serve alone or with a salad.

I had a great slad tonight. Lettuce, spinach, rodicchio (sp), sweet peppers, radishes, sunflower seeds and a light dressing. I love sald. And of course a glass of pinot noir to wash it down. Which has now turned into the whole bottle.
