SWAT team raids animal shelter to kill baby deer

A dozen SWAT team agents violently raided an animal shelter to kill a baby deer.

This is extremely bizarre and disturbing, how did they justify the use of such force to kill a defenseless baby fawn? Couldn't this have been peacefully accomplished by one or two plain-clothes officers to seize and euthanize the deer?

Abuse and misuse of paramilitary law enforcement is becoming a very frightening problem in the USA.

Cops throughout America are being given literally the exact same training, as well as weapons/equipment/vehicles as the US heavy infantry, with the only difference being that they are painted black.

Originally, SWAT teams were meant only to respond to things like barricaded suspects, hostage situations, armed standoffs, bank robberies, active shooter events, etc.. but now they are being used to serve routine arrest warrants for nonviolent misdemeanor crimes.

90% of the time, the deployment of paramilitary police is unjustified and unnecessary.
