if you people have been on mars, or unfortunately you are battening down in texas, just to let you know the SYDNEY SWANS won the Australian Football League Grand Final (IE THE SUPERBOWL) today
They beat West Coast by a bees dick,
there has been much rejoicing since
I am really pissed
We have waited (well some of us) 72 years to win the flag
I cant wait to stop celebrating
I wish I could type straight
....did I tell you the SWANS WON

I've watched probably an hour or two of Aussie rules football in the last few days, and I must say, I don't get it at all.

Aussie (OZZIE) Rules Football would have to be the most amazing spectator sport on the planet. It's extremely fast and an intricately structured game. It's about time Sydney Swans won the Premiership again, and such a tight finish... closest Final result since 1977.
They were known as South Melbourne before the team was relocated to Sydney... my Hubby used to play for them in the old days.
