Did you draw your av? I like it. (I'm guesing you drew it bc I've seen some of your other illustrations) I think you have a great cool and unique style. You don't work in design or illustration do you? Have you tried to go professional with your illustrations?

I have this children's book- Mazy takes a bath. The illustrations are uber-simplistic, I certainly don't see what the fuss is- but my baby likes it. Anyway, there's a thing in the back were the author/illustrator talks about herself a bit and she says the illustrations come first and then she creates the story around them.

I really think that you could be an awsome children's book writer/illustrator (If you are at all interested in that area). BTW- I don't mean to say that your illustrations are simplistic, because I think they are awsom on detail, but that I think they are cuter than much that is already making big bucks in the field.

Have you ever submitted or considered submitting your pictures to a children's book publisher? I think they would be intrieged...

Thank you! That's so sweet! Oh my, I'm getting all moved here...

Yes, I made the pic myself - just a little funny thing to celebrate my driver's license. I can do much better.

I'd love to be an illustrator - for children's books, novels, short stories, anything! I love to create computer graphics, and I like to draw. I've become obsessed with manga lately, so my graphite drawings have that quality to them.

I'll check into this area, definitely. I need a new job anyway, and what could be better than making money on something you LIKE doing?

cool:)

when you're a billionair, send me a couple thou- ok;)

I wish you luck and success. I really think you have the tallent. And you're a story teller too, so it all goes together quite nicely. I think retellings of folk tales are popular children's book themes. (hint hint;)) There's a lot of interesting ground to mine there too. Do be sure to publish in America.:) Which reminds me, check out Highlights for Children (on the web) submission guidelines. A friend of mine used to publish their quite a bit. If you can write to their style, I think they will love you're work. They are a great short story market, and they pay well too. (It always helps to have some published clips when going after the big book deals:))

I hate threads about peoples' AVs that don't make sense because people change their avatars more often that they change their underwear. :(

Perhaps you could attach the AV this thread is about for those of us who have no idea what it looked like now that you've change to a dancing devil?

*does happy dance*

Ooooh, I'm all excited here! OK, I'll set up a site with my art tomorrow evening, when I get home - I'm at my parents right now.

Until then, you can find some art at the Dolls section of my homepage.
