Partisan Review:

Partisan Review (PR) was a small circulation quarterly "little magazine" dealing with literature, politics, and cultural commentary published in New York City. The magazine was launched in 1934 by the Communist Party, USA–affiliated John Reed Club of New York and was initially part of the Communist political orbit. Growing disaffection on the part of PR's primary editors began to make itself felt, however, and the magazine abruptly suspended publication in the fall of 1936. When the magazine reemerged late in 1937, it came with additional editors and new writers who advanced a political line deeply critical of Stalin's USSR.

By the 1950s the magazine had evolved towards a moderate social democratic and staunchly anti-Stalinist perspective and was generally supportive of American foreign policy. Partisan Review received covert funding from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) during the 1950s and 1960s as part of the agency's efforts to shape intellectual opinion during the Cold War. The journal moved its offices to the campus of Rutgers University in 1963, then to the campus of Boston University in 1978. The final issue of the publication appeared in April 2003.

No disrespect to Sontag. Carlin understood the game. One of the few White male celebs that knew his privilege and used it to tell the verity about this country before the internet was even a thing.

Now the economically disadvantaged occupy substandard housing in the inner cities. And they’re broke! They’re broke! They don’t have a negative cash-flow position. They’re fucking broke! Cause a lot of them were fired. You know, fired. management wanted to curtail redundancies in the human resources area, so many people are no longer viable members of the workforce.

There’s a reason that education sucks and it’s the same reason that it will never ever be fixed. It’s never going to get better, don’t look for it so be happy with what you’ve got; because the owners of this country don’t want that. I’m talking about the real owners now; the real owners, the big wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions. Forget the politicians; the politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t, you have no choice. You have owners; they own you. They own everything; they own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought and paid for the senate, the congress, the state house, the city halls they’ve got the judges in their back pockets. They own all the big media companies so they control just about all the news and information you get to hear. They got ya by the balls!
They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying to get what they want. Well we know what they want; they want more for themselves and less for everybody else. But I’ll tell you what they don’t want. They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking; they’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them; that‘s against their interests. They don’t want people smart enough to sit around the kitchen table and realize how badly they’re getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago They don’t want that.
You know what they want? They want obedient workers; people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you got to collect it. Now they’re coming for your social security money. They want your fucking retirement money. They want it back so that they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall St. And you know something; they’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you sooner or later; because they own this fucking place. It’s a big club and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club.
By the way it’s the same big club they use to beat you over the head all day long when they tell you what to believe; All day long in their meetings telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks; the game is rigged and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care.
Good honest hard working people, white collar blue collar it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest hard working people of modest means continue to elect these rich cock suckers who don’t give a fuck about them. They don’t give a fuck about you. They don’t care about you at all. But nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care and that’s what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the red, white and blue dick that’s being jammed up their ass every day. Because the owners in this country know the truth; it’s called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.

Whites of European descent have created the most advanced, the most affluent, and the most humane civilization in world history. Negroes have a higher standard of living in the United States than in any black majority, black run country in the world. Negroes were enslaved by other Negroes, and sold to whites at a time when slavery was rife in sub Saharan Africa, and Negro slaves there were often the victims of cannibalism and human sacrifice. The British Navy took the lead in suppressing the slave trade. In the United States slavery was ended, not by slave revolts, but by the U.S. military during the Civil War. Freed slaves were given the option of moving to Africa. The vast majority choose to remain in the United States. These included those who had living memories of life in Africa. They remembered how bad life was in Africa. Evan as slaves, American Negros were usually taller than African free Negroes, and lived longer. This indicates better health.

I am not justifying American slavery. The United States would be a far better country if Negroes had not been brought here as slaves, and if the Negro population was minuscule. The downtown areas of our cities would not be asphalt jungles of crime and moral depravity. They would be centers of civilization, known for libraries, museums, art galleries, book stores, theaters, concert halls, and atmospheric restaurants and taverns. It would be possible to watch a movie or a play, or to attend a concert or a ballet that ended at 10:00 pm, walk two miles to get home, and be perfectly safe.

We whites of European descent have the right to be proud of our achievements, and of our benevolence toward the rest of the human population. Now we are losing ground to China and Japan. China is buying everything of value in Africa. I doubt the Chinese will be as kind to the African Negroes as the Europeans were. I have never known an Oriental who liked Negroes. While we are advancing Negroes to positions where they lack the intelligence to perform adequately with affirmative action programs, the mainland Chinese are perfecting their meritocracy.
