Hmmm. What rules? I certainly would like to see those. Can you cite them? There are a few other posters here I'd like to introduce to any such rules.

I found the "Forum Rules" tab on the bottom, right hand side of the web page.

The only rule concerning civility is as follows:

5. Do not threaten other users.

It seems that the best option, currently available, is to put our hateful little friend on "Ignore This User".

Yes, I know where the forum rules are posted--and with everything else they say in the rules, "threaten" must not begin until they are standing outside your car window and beating on it with a tire iron.

As far as the ignore feature is concerned, I think it's as easy just not to read the posts of anyone who disturbs or who tends to irritate you--the poster's name is prominently displayed at the top right of postings. I've found that people who say they've put you on ignore actually mean that they'll eagerly hunt out anything you've posted and make a snide comment about it/you.

BFW, please leave me out of your diatribes. I may or may not be a good person, but I'm certainly not "better" than anyone else. I'm sorry you have problems with people here and that they have problems with you, but I'd prefer to stay out of it, especially since from reading this thread, it seems like you're attacking some people who haven't done anything other than ask you to stop attacking people.

As for the lead, BFW has lost it, for the moment at least.

I see from reading this thread that there are different Survivor Contest rules for regulars and then there are the rules for me.

When I totally rewrite a story that has been withdrawn, with the permission of Laurel, I might add, I'm a cheater.

When a 'regular' totally rewrites a story it's called an adaptation.

Hey, that's okay. Now, that I know the rules, rules are rules and I will abide by whatever additional blockades and barriers you people want to put before me.

What are you afraid of? A little competition?

I've already withdrawn all my previously posted stories and have corrected my scorecard. It doesn't matter. I have more stories to post.

I want to thank you all for welcoming me to Literotica from day one and for being such assholes. You all know who you are and now I know who you are, too.

And by the way, do you know what Laurel wrote to me? She said, "You can catch more flies with a bit of honey."

Nah, not always. With you people, and you know who I'm talking about, I could pour the whole bottle on you and you'd still smell and taste like sour pickles.

I'm in a good place with my writing and I don't need you folks to bring me down.

Good luck to you all in the Survivor competition because if you think you have a chance against me, you will need whatever lucky charms you can stick up your asses.

If I would go back in time and rephrase the original post it might go something like, "if you participated in the Survivor thing did you have a whole lotta fun?"

And/or, "After your stint on the survivor roster, could you look at your pre-survivor self and then look at your post-survivor self and notice any significant difference? Maybe not so unlike those weight-loss ads that show the before and after pics."

I'm tempted to add to this post, but our local provider went out of business and we're just getting back on - it was really a healthy break for the mind to not be on the internet for a week or so - but it's very strange getting on it again, in a way.

Not only dirtier, but better. Sometimes I go back and look over stories from my first or second year here, and wonder how I ever could have let something such as that post here.

Dirtier? Oh so I should start with your older stories and work myself up to the newer ones?

Yes I am brand new and I guess I can't answer that question until December when I will have finished my year of Survivor.

I do like participating in this contest because it has given me the internal motivation to write. Not sure if my writing is getting better though.

Well, you can do that if you want, but I meant there is more graphic detail now than there used to be. They are also written better mechanically, with fewer typos and misspellings, because I edit and proofread more carefully now. I take a certain amount of pride in the smut I produce.

Possibly the dirtiest story I have ever written is the one named "Little Mandy and Her Daddy's Ass" which should post in a couple of days. I submitted it on March 6. It's an incest story and you can probably guess what it's about by the name.

That's pretty much what I was wondering.
I finally got one whole piece submitted! Watch out!
Like I said, I've tended to go back to the already writ stuff, and rewrite/rehash. So this was good, to get the head thinking of newer ideas - and then try and put them into readable prose.
Also, random selection landed on the novel/novella cat, and I thought it wouldn't be so tough, but it really is, to stretch something to the minimum words. I've started over about seven times now. It's tempting to just break it up into short pieces, which would make a nice handful of stories already, but it would be a regretful move, I think.

Oh, and I admire the fact that you seem to leave your stuff up - I wish I'd done that. But I got into the deletion habit early on, and I think it's incurable. Especially that very first submission. Shoulda left it up. Just for something to look back on. Oh well.

Anyhow, I felt pretty proud of it, but I have recently started editing it with thoughts of getting it published in ebook form. I'm appalled at how I could have thought it was any good. Well, thanks to you, I was inspired to do something, just for laughs (hope so!). I went and found that very first one and resubmitted it. Before I opened it I declared that I would leave it exactly as it was, just to do the right thing. But I had to give it a minimal edit, hopefully enough to retain its original feel without improving it too much.

Of course it won't count towards the survivor thing, but it'll be back on the list. And my insides feel better, at least morally.
