This season ought to be interesting.....soooooo what former Survivor castaways are coming back?

Looking forward to the show starting up this Wednesday! Not sure how the so called favorites are chosen. There are quite a few in there that I wouldn't think would be anyone's fav.

I'd prefer a whole fresh cast but can't wait for the show to start anyway.

I'm guessing, they have a list, first choice, second, etc. Its who agrees to do the show again. Some, I guess, do not find the game so pleasurable to play.

Disappointed with the idea of more returning members, especially since I thought I'd seen the last of some of them!

I'm another Malcolm fan though, so hope he keeps strong.

So I've been looking at the cast bios CBS put out.

"Favorites:" AKA Bikal AKA bird sound "BiCall!"

Andrea:

I don't really remember her but she could do well.

Brandon:

Read an interview with him the other day. He thinks he has gotten tougher and better. He believes he will tell Cochran who to vote for and the other person from his season will fall in line too because Brandon believes he is seen as trustworthy. Also said something about hanging out with his uncle a lot when split from his wife but not having sex with him. HUH!?! I say he is still as fucked up as ever, possibly worse. He makes a good case for mandated counseling for the clearly disturbed.

Erik:

I liked him okay before. I'd like to see how far he can go this time.

Francesca:

I don't remember her at all. I've always thought a season of first out players could be interesting.

Phillip:

This guy is a nut. He has no business coming back nor does Survivor have any business bringing him. I'm still angry, that Survivor never said, with real documentation, if he ever was an agent or not.

Malcolm:

I liked him last season but it seems his editing didn't show what an ageist and general jerk he really is. Should be interesting to watch this season. He may be edited differently but considering who else is on his tribe he'll have to try awfully hard for the limelight.

Cochran:

I didn't like him the first time. He reminds me of a guy I used to play D&D with that was literally slimy looking though Cock ran is slimmer. Ugh. No one can trust him since he flipped on his tribe. Wish he were not coming back.

Dawn:

Be interesting to see if she can do better this time. I liked her okay last time.

Corinne:

I don't really remember her but if Randy Bailey is her, "the survivor I'm most like" I don't want her around long.

Brenda:

She's cute but I don't really remember her.

Fans: AKA Gota Tribe AKA "Got to" First of all do the Fans have any real chance against the so called Favs? I think not. Anyway . . .

Eddie:

Sounds like he has good values and is fairly cute. He might go far.

Matt:

If he is like Rupert, (and he thinks he is), I might just love him. LOL

Hope:

Should be interesting to watch. She thinks she is like the shallow one. Hahaha.

Socially, I flirt like Parvati Shallow and can handle intense confrontational situations with a smile on my face. And, I’m a bit like Todd Herzog where I can play into people’s egos to keep them blind to my agenda.

Todd Herzog I had to look up. Turns out he won his season and he is dating Spencer Duhm the youngest player at the time he played a contestant on the season of Survivor: Tocantins.

Comments on those I remember:

Andrea: - Cute girl. Even though I don't remember her, blonde, I tend to not notice blondes as quickly. But definitely cute.
Brandon: - I'm waiting to see which woman sends his lust into a tizzy, but I don't think he'll be around long.
Erik: - Giving up that immunity idol, I hope the experience will make him wiser.
Francesca: - I just don't like her, she reminds me of someone I hate in real life. I know that's unfair to her, but it is what it is.
Phillip: - I think he is crazy, but his comments are great for show value. I hope he sticks around for awhile.
Cochran: - I think it would have been awesome if he showed up all bulked up, and with a tan.

Shamar decides to say shelter isn't important and just being an ass is. WTF?!? Has he ever seen the show before? Was he ever told it's a social game? Of course he could be going for the, "So unpleasant I can beat him" slot. Wait until it rains and then tell me how important shelter isn't.

Btw, lot's of sweat this year. Makes me think it's hotter there than other locations have been.

He did help start fire. Good for him. It's probably the only positive thing he can do. Matt did a good job at making peace with the jerk. Maybe Matt will go far.

Can Phillip using Boston Rob's moves win? No. Because he is Phillip. I was really hoping playing too hard too soon plus his crazy as can be personality would get him voted off early.

Oh and he would like the shelter facing the water for the view. He doesn't seem to like Brenda's idea of turning his head but being less vulnerable to the wind.

Francesca and Phillip sort of talk, sort of tell each other no hard feelings. She says, "I'm not gunning for you." He tells the camera, "She is stuck in the past." Jerk.

At this point I'm thinking Shamar or Phillip is going home depending on who loses.

Favs win first challenge. Not a surprise. I expect them to roll over the fans. There was some seriously vicious stuff going on in that challenge too. Wow. Malcolm, the only one they haven't seen play before does well. I can tell they are thinking, keep him around until group immunity is done. Well, that's what I would be thinking.

So Cochran got a bad sunburn. It looked like his feet swelled up. I'm thinking, maybe HE will be the first to go home if by some miracle the favs don't win immunity. Not only did he flip on his own team but now he has a legit physical reason to send him home.

Meanwhile Dawn is making all kinds of ugly faces. Ease up Dawn not only do the faces make you look ugly they make you look OLD. Why are you doing that?

Eddie and the high schoolers think they are so sneaky but then two of them make out in front of everyone on the first night?!? Stupid! I want them gone. "We are the best looking." Whatevs.

Surprise, surprise, the fans win immunity. Who will be the first to go home? Phillip? Cochran? Andrea?!? Francesca meanwhile tries to get Phillip out. Wait, what happened to, "I'm not going for you."

At tribal Phillip says he knew how to pronounce her name all along but did that as a diss. Bullshit!

The first one out, is Francequa again! Too easy. Sure the played too hard too fast, again but knowing what bitchy snobs people can be, I suspect the rest decided she wasn't worthy of being brought back since she was the first one out in her season unlike any of them. Feeling superior, they voted her out first again. I'm not at all happy. I kind of like her.

Next week, it looks like baby Hantz feels threatened and goes nuts. What a surprise. NOT!

Well right off the bat, this season is pissing me off immediately. I am mad Francesca got voted off. I LIKE her and she just didn't get ANY chance on this show AGAIN. She's articulate and intelligent and congenial. The "Favorites" are fucking idiots for not getting rid of Phillip immediately. If he's around ALL season in that OBNOXIOUS pink underwear (which no doubt the producers egged him on to bring back) I think I will have to stop watching this t.v. series in the future. The guy is a world class JERK and WHO wants to see the outline of HIS junk anyways ??? Jesus, the fucking camera crew KEPT panning on his crotch too. Like anyone fucking cares. Yeesh.

What did Erik call Phillip, an idiot loser or something like that ?? PERFECT. I'm totally rooting for Erik and Malcolm to go far. I don't know about anyone else yet.

Meanwhile, what is WRONG with Cochran ? Sure, he's funny ala Woody Allen style, but he didn't even think to TRY and prepare himself physically for a second season on Survivor ? I mean, even getting a touch of sunlight for days and days ahead of time ? Excuse me but...did Mr. Harvard student FORGET what it's like to be on the show ?? He didn't even sunburn like THAT the first season he was on. Book smart, street dumb or what ??

Did anyone notice (or care) about the frequent camera panning on cool animals of the region? Especially that bush baby or lemur looking species again... that was so cute last season too. Since The Caramoans are in The Phillipines too, no surprise they're showing that cute creature again. Anybody know what species it is ? Because I think it can't be an actual bush baby for sure as they are supposed to live in Africa I think ?

Has anybody ever checked out any of the international versions/series of Survivor ? I had NOOOOOOOOO idea there are so many: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivor_(TV_series) I'd really like to watch episodes of Survivor India or Survivor Israel. Hahaaaaa. There are episodes on YouTube I will have to make time to watch. When this season is done, perhaps.

That animal with the big huge eyes is adorable. I can't get enough of that. Plus the baby monkey's who are seemingly watching the humans, saying, "They cray cray!"

Doesn't the after show have that nasty Parvarti Shallow person on it? If so I won't be watching it.

I'm a big fan of Brenda, I think she's fit and beautiful and such a good athlete with a big smile. I hope she goes far. That said, not a fan of Malcolm although I see the fan's attraction to him. Maybe because he was JUST on last season, not sure....

Also, I just can't believe they voted out Francesca, 1st out, second time around. That has got to hurt.....haunt her for life, how could it not?
