And here is likely the only OOC you will see:

A new game has been taking the nation, the first true VR reality has been created. It's so real though there have been reports of poeple actually dieing in teh real world after playing in this game... and reports of creatures spotted that resemble things from the games as well as poeple claiming the ability to use abilities they gain in the game in the real world.

Most of course is all consistered fabrication and the deaths put off as health problems not truthfully delt with before entering the gaming arenas.

There is no real plot though one might form out of this, depends on cast and such, feel free to enter as badguys or good guys or whatever you want. I'm hoping to get a crowd on this one!

(EDIT)
The transistion between the real world and the vitueral one is very minimal, you walk into a room and find yourself in the setting with everything and looking like your charactor as pretty or hidious as it is with all the begining 'settings' and inventory and such and when you walk back out to the 'real world' you take some of the stuff with you that you did in the 'virtual' Like when my girl comes back out she'll still have the thing on her sleeves letting her store stuff. After another session she'd had other abilities... Just things that at first you won't think about since it in the course of stuff became so 'real' it still feels that way. That's why there are 'two charactors' Plan on during the course of this merge the two into one.

But that's about the only form of storyline I even have going past whatever anyone wants to do, loads of room for sex rape and other fun things as well as adventuring and then confusing your friends and neighbors

(END EDIT)

All people are welcome, you have to create basicly two sides of your charactor, the 'real' you and the 'game' you. Try to include both in initical descriptions. This is an open free for all. So enjoy!

Thus let the games begin

IC::Franny

Franny about jumped with excitement, the VR game Virtuosity was coming to her town! Normally were she lived one would have to travel MILES for the nearest Virtuosity location. They had yet to create a home verson of the game a person having to travel to the biulding locations to enjoy this top of the line Virtual Reality game.

Having submitted her charactor and being excepted Franny couldn't wait to go.

She was called, a girl of normal hieght and a little out of shape. Overall boring and not one that most looked at more than a brief glance, 24 and no boyfriend, she rather hoped she could meet someone who wouldn't mind hooking up for role playing games in the real world as well.

She walked into the dim room and wondered what the equiptment looked like, would she have to wear a helmet or get into some contraption?

----

Franny awoke suddenly finding herself staring at a starfilled night. Felinell Grendrolla Mert'drel was a human mage, girl of lower journyman ranking though the tattoos covering her body gave her much more power at hand, she was the only mge of her type.

Franny looked down at her slime graeeful form and giggled bousning to watch herself giggle slightly and felt the trim waistline flowing into wide curving hips. "OH MY GOD!" she twirlled happily looking down her robed back at how well formed she was.

No wonder people became adictied to this game! One could have anyform one liked, she had looked over the listing and chosen a mage though she had to wait to see if her submission of using tattoos to speed up spellcasting would be excepted.

But she remembered some of the others on the list and the note that one would start were best suited for their types. Demons, vampires, elves, goblins, cyclops, space men and aliens. Pretty much anything on could dream up was here. Weather wanting to be in a more science fiction ship and blaster or the fantasy unicorn hunting sorcerer.

She looked around spotting the small pack of provisions she had written down on her submission, and then grinning checked ehr sleeves, YEAP! the spell she created to have on her clothing worked too! She coudl stuff things and have them hidden in her sleeves. Cut down on how much she had to pack in her pouches and packs. So a single belt pouch and a single small pack was all she had to carry plus all the minor herbs jars and other interesting items in her sleeves.

With the begining sum of money, begining provisouns, a bottle of tattooing ink, a map and a book of spells she was on her way twords the nearest town as marked on the crossroad sign she woke up under.

This was going to be FUN!

Standing in a field dressed in a Long gown, and very decorated, ornmental armor. I ran my hand through my long white hair...pulling it into a quick ponytail ontop of my head. Running my fingers across my pointy ears feeling the earrings jingle . I picked up my bag and started towards the west. there were trees in the distance... Looking across the field i could see a small creek ahead, reaching for my canteen I knew it was lighter and i needed to fill it. I walked to the creek and kneeled down to its bubbling surface. plunging my canteen into the cold clear water, i let it fill, and pulled it out, recapping itand putting the strap over my shoulder.

Grabbing hold of a large rock, I lowered my mouth to the surface and drank from the creek.

I stopped and listened, i could hear something or someone moving towards the field. walking .

Franny found herself staring at a roadsign and deciphering old marks comparing them to those on the map she held. The only thing that came to her mind when she started thinking about it was she had a 'quest' of sorts. To find a old spell called the "Dance of Fire" which is one of several realted spells all needed for a ceremony of sorts. Dance of Fire, Requim of Water, Wind's Alert. She figured there would then of course be one for spirit earth such other things like that if this followed fantasy settings.

LOcating the correct direction Felinell Grendrolla Mert'drel journyman sorceress headed for the city of Gabriel and the temple of Green Angels, which seemed to be some sort of library. Which made sense to the bookwormish franny, were better to start a search for a missing spell than a library?

OOC: I'm one of those cyber rp newbies *grinning* but all in the character does come from a table top character. Hope it fits in nicely *s*.

OOC:

Real Time (RT):
Name: Robert Talmadge, Tal to family and friends
Age: 26
Physical appearance: White male, 6'1" tall, about 190 #'s, 'dirty' blonde hair, blue eyes
Background: Parents killed in an auto accident when 19. DUI accident everyone died. Insurance, double indemnity, plus the wrongful death lawsuit left him financially secure and moderately wealthy.
'Good' teaching established a sense of responsibility, financial and otherwise.
Considered a 'good guy' but with a temper.
Dating, no steady girlfriend.
To keep in shape goes to the gym three times a week, then to study Tai Chi Kuan martial art. Has studied accupressure and accupuncture just because it was interesting. Is just beginning a class in hypnotism. Only been studying it for two months so knows the basics but still working on technique(s). Note: One woman he dates learned of the hypnosis and asked him to try it on her, successfully. Found that they liked all, as he 'allowed' her to recall everything afterwards, when he "Dominated" her and she had to take on the role of his slave.
Only a now and then thing but sexually exciting and oddly 'fulfilling' at the same time.
Tal lives in a large two story log cabin in the woods about two hours from a major city but goes there mostly for fun the local town supplies his basic needs.
While in the city heard about Virtuality several months ago and tried it. Liked it enough to return at least once a week.

Virtual Time (VT):
Thlisandlis Darkmoon:
He chose to establish a character that he had played in his teens in D&D. He's a half elven ranger/druid. A demi human in his late 20's with a lifetime of 'schooling' behind him as a ranger and about 5 years schooling as a druid. He is of 'journeyman' rank as a druid now and seeking experiences and adventure in the virtual world just as he did on a tabletop with dice years ago.
Physical Description:
Height as in reality as well as weight, etc. His ears are slightly pointed and eyes slightly tipped hinting at the half elven heritage.
"Special Attributes/Abilities": He has an unerring sense of direction, can see into the infrared spectrum in the dark for about 50 feet. Has faster than normal reflexes and has 'brought along' the knowledge of hypnosis and Tai Chi Kuan as a hand to hand fighting style.
Equipment on hand:
A recurve bow with a 90# draw, quiver of arrows, knife in the top of each high leather boot, a long sword, quiver of arrows and wears a wide brimmed hat and an elven cloak, that when reversed renders the wearer nearly undetectible in an outdoor setting.
Clothing sturdy as befits a woodsman.

IC:
Mona had to cancell our date, family matters, so I decided to play for a bit. A drive to the city and I was in fantasy again.

I strode quietly, as it my normal manner, along the edge of a field toward the road to the town I'd read about and decided to join.

As I glided through the woods I heard something ahead and slowed. 'Never can tell what or who it could be,' I thought as I approached the water I could hear tinkling over rocks ahead.

On the bank was a woman kneeling and drinking. I looked at her enjoying what her position revealed. 'A lusty looking wench,' I though.

Stepping from the shade of the trees I said, "Hello to you and how are you today?"

Edit to IC post: Thlisandlis Darkmoon

The nearby town is about a day's journey from Gabriel, my destination.

Reality:

An ordinary-looking young guy with dark hair and blue eyes. Considered 'cute' in a sort of male version of the girl next door type, Johnathan Turner is in fact very depressed and considered almost suicidal by the psychiatrist his concerned, wealthy parents hired after he dropped out of medical college. The psychiatrist suggested he take up something that would completely occupy him and leave him no time to brood, and recommended the new VR games. Since their creation he has been addicted, yet restless, starting character after character, genre after genre, and become bored with them all. His latest attempt is:

Virtual:

Judas, a fighter/sorcerer type. Judas in fact resembles Turner in reality, only with more outstanding, remarkable features and well-defined muscles and the addition of a pale scar on the forehead. Judas uses a white-handled knife in combat.

Turner... Judas (he was coming to find little distinction between his personas) awoke. He was in the town of Gabriel. He remembered his character's mission; to locate and destroy any seeking to enact the Dance of Fire ritual. Judas set off through the virtual streets

Franny herd a sound and peeking off the side of the road saw an elf and a gentalman she coudln't make out clearly other than he looked druid in the AD&D style. She smiled and waved their directiona nd went on figuring since it was her first day she wasn't going to try and make any mistakes, like bursting in on someone elses story by accedent.

She just made it known she saw them and if they liked to join her then maybe they would. She looked up the path and smiled, it felt SO real, wind in her long hair the grit under her booted feet.. this was great.

Darkmoon

Hearing the voice the ** OCC:*half human-half elf* ranger/druid** turned to see a woman looking through the brush across the stream. She began to approach with a smile on her face.

"Hello," Thlisandlis replied, "a lovely day to enjoy nature's bounty isn't it?"

Franny smiled and nodded "Beautiful, nice meeting you, don't let me intruspt you two" smiles at the girl by the stream as well and keeps on down the path.

(hey welcome Leth, cool charactor and welcome everyone else too! I was going to use this last bump and if it didn'twork call this a lost cause thred LOL)

Darkmoon:

OOC: Glad ya didn't need that last 'bump'. *Grinnin'

IC:

"Hello there. I am Thlisandilis Darkmoon and who might you be?"

Turner/Judas

Judas was a villain. Playing villains had become increasingly attractive to Turner. It was though he could separate out all the dark, anarchic thoughts and instincts he felt, parcel them as the game character and not have to worry about them any more. Even now, Judas barely made, Turner could feel him, snarling and hungry within him. He let him surface, let the thoughts take over his posture and movement. It was only a game. He could not hurt anyone.

Turner hadn't spent much time putting Judas together. In the early days he'd constructed immense character histories and spent hours putting together every detail of their faces, but now he was content to simply idealise his own features. To play was the important thing. He'd already lost several characters to irate player-characters he'd betrayed.

Judas was able to ignore Turner's conscious knowledge that this was a game, that it was not real, that he was not real. He walked through the streets, moving like a predator. Judas had been promised a girl's soul for the mission he was on

Franny spun and grinned loving the way she was able to move, without thought and with a real ease she hadn't felt in ages.

"Felinell Grendrolla Mert'drel " she intraduced then grinned "But please, just call me Franny." then paused "Heading for Gabriel" she said "The temple of green angels, you?" she looked over at the other woman as well smiling welcomingly.

Everything here was so very real, it was easy to slip in, loose reality that this wasn't real, it felt real more real than anything else she ever played in her life. She couldn't wait to get a chance to try one of hte many spells writen in the tattoos on her body, or just feel everything.

She came to this world to escape her own.

"Well I'm just wandering. A bit of the 'fiddlefeet' as Mom used to say.
"I'd just greet this woman when you popped up, but was heading for a newby town.
"Care to join me or us if she decides to come along?"

A 'klinking' sound from the field caught my attention. Looking I saw a tall man walking across it tossing a bag into the air and catching it behind his back.

Turning to look at Fanny again I remarked with a low chuckle, "Looks like the road's in the wrong place."

I'm begining to think so too" she said and started walking with whoever wanted to follow. She headed on off to the town trying to make as much distance as she could "Hope nothing attacks" she muttered, she played enough RPGs to know that random battles seemed to make up the bulk of the game

Darkmoon:

"What's the hurry? Let me fill my water skin and I'll accompany you, if you wish. One direction is as good as another to me and company is appreciated, especially lovely company."

She laughed at being called pretty and reached into her sleeve to pull out a full wine skin "I'm alright and the nearest town isn't that far up the road, but I've a quest and I'm antious to get to it"

Darkmoon:

"Well if it can't wait the few moment I need to fill my skin so be it. I imagine I'll catch up with you before you reach town anyway."

Squatting I begin to fill my water skin in the stream.

She smiled and started walking slowly down the path looking around herself in wonder, she practicly shouted 'newbie'

She made a mental inventory and figured with what was in her head of value of cionage and such as to what she should expect when she did the 'inventory restock' at the town. Maybe she should get a weapon? She had her tattoos and spells, but magic was limited for one of her rank she'd need to have something, besides no one expected a mage to suddenly draw a sword and be able to defend themselves decently if not the best.

She kept thinking to herself and paused to exsamine the lichen growing on a rock till she pulled out her book and looked it up, with a squeel she started picking some and suffing it into a container she pulled from her backpack and then stuffed up her sleeve.

Perhaps she could get a few things to trade and save her pocket book a bit according to her book the lichen she took was rare and good to an alchemist for making into potions.

Darkmoon:

As I approached, I watched as Fanny put something up her sleeve and then started walking again.

Reaching where she'd knelt I say the remains of a patch of 'Star moss'. None was left, all had been uprooted.

My normally long stride quicked, still as a quiet tread just an occasional leather sound as something rubbed.

Reaching her I gripped her shoulder and turned her rather forcefully to face me. Frowning down into her eyes I said, "Don't you know that if you don't leave a bit behind you've killed all that grew there. I can never grow there again now. Thanks to you, you foolish or greedy woman."

Franny slapped his hand away and silently pointed to the patch on the other side of the rock that grew healthily and the fact she had given it a little magic to make it 'grow faster' to replace what she had taken and stood up dusting off her knees "Geeze buddy cool off and LOOK before you go blaming someone about stupidity, geeze, I've been a GARDENER since I was five and I ain't talking about here either"

She turned and walked away with a long easy stride that showed her long legs very well and the stiffness to her back, she wasn't greedy! and she wished peopel woudl THINK before laying blame.

She was tempted to just flambee him infact every tattoo she had glowed with her rage "Nice meeting you" was all she said coldly.
