I have a couple of very close friends who are considering using a surrogate mother to improve their chances of starting a family. They've told me that they are not going through an agency but, instead, are going with a woman organised privately.
Has anyone had any dealings with this subject before? Maybe you've used a surrogate, or maybe you know someone who has been a surrogate.
After trying to do an internet search, all I can come up with are agencies and law firms trying to make money out of both parties.
What do I enter on an internet search in order to find a private individual who is willing to offer her services, and her body, in order to provide a loving couple with a start to their family?
Any advice would be appreciated. The couple are living in Sydney, Australia.
